When the Lizzie Borden axe murder question came up, I was literally reciting the rhyme that kids at the time came up with: "Lizzie Borden had an axe, gave her mother 40 whacks; when she realized what she had done, she gave her father 41." Not kidding, that murder case was interesting because Lizzie got away with it. It wasnt until 100 years later or so when modern forensic analysts went to the house where the incident happened and they discovered massive amounts of dried blood that could only be seen with with special powder and a black light. They also looked at the evidence that was collected at the time and figured out that Lizzie was the true murder in the Lizzie Borden Axe murders.
Oh, while most of this is true, the Borden murders remain unsolved to this day. It is one of the US biggest unsolved mysteries - although it is believed that Lizzie is the one to have done it. I thought that in the original Dr. Dolittle movie, the animals could not talk and he could only understand them. Dr. Dolittle 2 was the one where they added in the voices for the animals. I'm going to have to watch the first movie again.
The animals always talked in all three of the first Dr. Dolittle films.
The whole premise of the first movie was the dog spoke to him, then came the birds, then the rats, and so on
