Jeffery Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy are perfect examples of the two thieves that were crucified on either side of our Lord Jesus Christ. One thief mocked Jesus while the other confessed to being a transgressor and stating that they deserve to be there whilst Jesus Christ didn’t. Jesus Christ accepted the thief who admitted his transgression to be in paradise with him. Dahmer chose to be baptized and closer to God before he was murdered by an inmate while on the other hand Gacy chose the opposite to be separated from God based on his last words upon his death bed. What right do we have to take what God has given us from others, which is the right to repentance? Paul (Saul of Tarsus) killed many that claimed to be Christians but he repented once he got a dose of Jesus Christ’s power. This is the agape love that God has for us as his creation.
