To the whole passion of yours , I’d say maybe start small at home practicing and gradually make your way to a dojo and bring someone you feel safe and comfortable with so you don’t feel alone. Every person is different with their body and energy levels. For me personally I do not lift on my period. If I have the energy I go for a long slow run. If I don't, I know it's ok to take a rest day, look up "Yoga for Period Cramps" videos, do some light stretching etc. Listen to your body! You don't have to "push through" or guilt yourself to ignore the pain and keep going. Esp when it comes to your cycle. I know some choose to lift on their period, but I encourage you to look up the benefits to sync your cycle with how you train , eat, live life. 🫶🏻✨ Love your videos Mel. Move that curtain rod down to the horizontal line at the top of the door. You’ll get the full length that you’re looking for and still get a little light in the top. And sorry, I don’t mean to be that girl telling you what to do, but I feel like as an aesthetic girlie, those high water curtains are going to drive you nuts!
