I would suggest Ritesh Agarwal focus on employee retention rate. what is he thinking about people ? Whenever he wants layoff or hired. Why should great talented people to join OYO? Look at 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 layoff. I can't entirely agree with his strategy. He don't know how to manage things. doing experiments with investors' money. investors are not at all satisfied with his silly discussions. I was oyo from 2019 to 2021. No balance life, no satisfaction. The interesting part is OYO is running because of couples-friendly - 71% revenue share. It distracted Indian culture. He doesn't focus on B2B, Corporate, Travel tourists, long stay.

We stop trying OYO before a year, bcoz I don't know the situation in the North. But if I book OYO in Chennai or any other cities in Tamilnadu. At Check in Time hotels Simply Reject our Booking, or ask more money. So we know 90-95% OYO Booking is not working as per OYO app mentioned Amount.

The way oyo operates and does not take any ownership of its customers problems, I hope it goes bankrupt. I have had several instances where they took the money and dennied service on odd hours and the customer care did nothing. They show hotels as listed when the hotel owners deny service saying they had de-registered and no one hears . This company has failed miserably in service and should not be allowed to function based on history of mismanagement. I have such strong feelings because of personal experience and not just 1-2 cases but many many cases personally

This podcast took me back to my old days.
During my childhood I used to sit at my dad's shop during summer break and also everyday after my school.
I used to look at my dad and copy his way of talking to customers. I used to feel happy every time I managed to sell items and when I used to see the cash box filled with money. I was a little girl and customers used to praise me saying you have a true businessman's spirit.
Later due to internal family reasons and financial losses the shop got shut and I went out of my town for higher studies, I started working and completely lost touch with business.
The thrill you get when you make money during your childhood is something different. You are innocent yet determined to sell your products with the intent of making money.

    2. More details on cost structure of a company for various teams. How does a company decide how much to raise of needed in the next rounds? Complexities of cost structure. Mechanisms and policies to hire so that company doesn't need to fire in "slow" times.

Ganesh, it would be great if you could invite Shlok Shrivastava, also known as TechBurner, to your podcast. His insights would definitely be valuable for us.

I would like to share something here. I feel new age marketeers took a very wrong approach for scaling too fast. They all got inspired by big marketing budgets of well established companies, thinking huge marketing spends leads to profitability. This shows in the fact that I have read marketing jobs description (of high growth start ups) where one of the requirements would say they’re looking for someone who has managed marketing budgets of XYZ value (usually in millions/ crores).
I could relate to the point, prove profitability and capital will follow as I did the same thing in my previous business. I didn’t go to any angel investor or VC, I chose to take advantage of MSME schemes to get funds without giving away any equity!

Love your videos, bro... Keep rocking... Also please make a video on election results after a week from June 4 so that you get enough time to research and we can know what are the tasks that the government who is going to come into power should do in the next 5 years. Please
