Hey it's good to see one of these being used properly and not kept as a special edition shelfer. Having said that, when I get round to building mine it's going to have a fairly easy life on grass on dry days while the standard edition with the brushless motor gets a beating in all weathers. Great video guys 😁👍👍

It is a cool looking and fun running buggy! Not the best out there but a good looking scale buggy. I am glad you did not lose the front pin completely, that would probably be one of those oddball parts that are really difficult to find!

Here's my 2c. My first car was a fav in 85 and it's rough rider tyres didn't slide then to suddenly bite in and flip the car although I like the challenge of 2wds, those wild one tyres are pretty bad for that. Also a 21t motor is all it can handle verging on insanity. The chassis has a weak spot on the rear too which will eventually remind you that torquey motors and hard landings run into $. Thanks for your entertaining video and one minute of your life to read this drivel

    • @RCsoandso

Hey it’s interesting and I’d love to have had a FAV, I’ve thought about butchering something together to look like one. I do agree it was weak spots but I’ll run it till it breaks as it’s a fun buggy all in all. Glad you enjoyed the video and taking the time to comment 👍

I have this new in box and havent built it yet but i suggest backing the grub screw out and pull the pin and file a flat spot in the pin the tighten it back up. I wouldnt put locktite on any plastic parts. They will become brittle and will fail

    Great little burn up lads!
In all fairness, for the age of the design she really does drive well, especially with the trusty superstock which is quite a bit more potent than the silver can that it was originally designed for!
The pin design is very crude, and typical of models from this time period......worth trying some of that maximum hold locktight perhaps?
I watched a video on that 1/1 scale wild one a few months ago, apparently it can easily be made road legal..... I was very interested, that is until I saw the price tag!!!
As for breaking in those superstocks-
I always connect them up to an esc/battery before fitting them to the car.
I then put the trim on the remote slightly up so it ticks over at very low revs for about 10 minutes, then allow it to cool down for a while.
I repeat this process about 5 or 6 times before fitting the motor to the car.
It does a great job of gently bedding in the new brushes to the commutator ready for use.
Don't know about you, but i would love to see a Blockhead motors lunchbox edition..... and that similar livery in blue would look awesome?!
Hmmmm..... I might just get on that one and make my own!! 🤣
    👍 👍 👍

Tamiya has progressed well over the years with design, but I would have thought Blockheads may have addressed this issue, as I’ve heard a few people have this problem, but I will see if Loctite cures the problem. The BZ is a Great motor and I like to use them but they do take time to settle, I might give your method a try. I’ve seen someone try and do a Blockhead Lunchbox, and I am sure you would do a far better job than they did 🤣😂👍

My eagle eye picked up on the hair hanging off the back. And since hd TVs ive picked up on Sigourney Weavers trying to escape her underwear or luke and Leia's stretchy as their lips parted. I think it maybe more of a perverse nature rather than an eagle eye though. Thanks for wasting 10 seconds of your life to read this important information

The Racing Fighter is the Chief Engineers, I’d class the Sand Scorcher as a Beach Buggy not just a Buggy, the Hornet belongs to another friend and the comical is also the Chiefs, so that’s my justification I’d say 🤔😂👍
