I feel like Chapo really took a big L after Bernie's second loss. Now it's all ironic humour at Trump's literal Nazi talk. I wouldn't be surprised if none of them vote because "the system is all bullshit anyway man so what's the point?" The silence after Roth's sincere reflection on Trump's fascist tendencies followed with "LETS SHIT ON KAMALA FOR HER STANCE ON ISRAEL!" I hate her stance on Israel. I hate that she is just a cog in a massive machine that just keeps on mulching Palestinians. But do they really think Trump will go easier on Gaza? I'm annoyed I have to vote for someone who will hand over the gun to another person to pull the trigger, but Trump will 100% do the deed himself. Pre-2020 Chapo did actually discuss politics, and had positive things to say. Now it's just ironic humour and underlying sadness at the state of US politics. It's still good listening, it's just sad that it's now just a bunch of depressed dirtbags expressing absolute apathy.
They openly have said repeatedly they don't vote because "it doesn't matter, we live in LA/NYC". Which is really funny because both states are trending more conservative and Will is living in a city that elected a mayor that's just running dropshipping scams out of his office and is planning on catching a leprechaun to help fix the multiple federal investigations he's under now. The real reason they don't vote is because they're a bunch of depressed pillheads who pull in probably about $1.5+ million a year after taxes telling a bunch of disaffected, also clinically depressed pillheads that essentially nothing matters. You're not gonna catch Will at any protest because he walked across a bridge once for a Floyd protest, got kettled, and then never did another single solitary bit of actual on-the-ground activism again. You'd never catch Felix at it because that would interrupt his eternal Klonopin and CS2 sessions where he can't climb out of plat.

southern cities. The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s echoed the NAACP's goals, but leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, felt that direct action was needed to obtain them. Although the NAACP was criticized for working too rigidly within the system, prioritizing legislative and judicial solutions, the Association did provide legal representation and aid to members of other protest groups over a sustained period of time. The NAACP even posted bail for hundreds of Freedom Riders in the '60s who had traveled to Mississippi to register black voters and challenge Jim Crow policies.

@@bitteralmonds666 In his defense he would probably say "He wasn't seeing the color".
I love cats but I’m a bit scared having them on my lap because they often start biting or clawing me.

It's a fair criticism, but here's a counterpoint: what else are you gonna do
if no one voted no one would pander or rig and everyone would be made aware of their place in society
In all seriousness why would you not become a bit of a doomer if your belief is in leftist politics after Bernie lost?
@@CourtiSmock Because I'm not a special snowflake and have some historical perspective?

Very bad faith characterization
The fact that the midwest is still supporting Trump proves they're just regarded.
