Thank you for this review! I was so angry when I purchased Civ 6. Couldn't play it after release day because the combat AI was so stupid. Keep them coming!
In my gameplay the AI built only pure catapult 4-stacks, which of course I wrecked easily because I had actually diverse armies I hope that was only because I was playing in one of the easier difficulties to learn the game, I'll have to try another game with a harder difficulty
Thanks a lot for the follow up. But how does AI perform in battle? Do they form a front line or they just send their units one by one. Also, in Civ6 and Humankind AI doesn’t get smarter when you increase the difficulty. It just gets a better start, with more initial resources, units, settlers, etc. And once you get over that edge, it’s as frustrating as in "easy" level.
We did a Test in today's stream on the hardest, the AI is cheating hard, like not just a startet boost but permanent bonuses. They do not send their Units one by one they actually do set up formation. Definitely check my stream today, the AI did something supersmart. My Army was in a fight with his first army, it sends a second army to circumvent that fight and going straight for my now undefended capital.
I actually played on the highest difficulty today on stream, I had no chance. Cheated the hell out of it. Air works like Civ and yes the Ai know how to use it. For Diplo and battle check out my Review :)

Copernicus always has been my favourite leader ❤😂.
Thanks.
Tnx ❤
Thanks but still so many Qs about the AI. Air? Diplomacy? Battle? Top Difficulty Level? Why is every streamer winning?

seem like you say the AI is good especially compared to civ 6, but your thumbnail got me worried that the AI is bad
