When I'm in my room crying I listen to this song & it makes me think of the things I regret & I always think of how lucky I am I have amazing friends. . . at the same I think their so lucky they have an actual mom that cares instead of saying "Fuck you, you bitch" everyday & my dad is always at work I wake up at 2:00 in the morning saying hi & he broke his ankle this week & my mom who doesn't work, hangs out with her friends doesn't help me or anything but shes my mom I have to love her & my dad I'm so grateful but I wish I could have my dog "Honey Girl" back & my little friends I talked to when I had no one I do have great friends but I never told them about my life I try to put a smile on my face but its so hard I go on the "Ps3 and internet" and find people just like me & we bond/have fun & they put away all my stresses & worries I couldn't thank you enough for the people that make me laugh & have a real smile if joy & I love the song its beautiful

Exactly today, two years ago, was the first time I heard Christina's song... I came back here, just to remember that day when I found the owner of this beautiful voice. Two years passed in a blink of an eye and it's so sad to see her go. May she Rest in Peace

I found out about Christina's death after I came back from China, which was 12 days after it happened. I was so shocked. This girl who I had been following since, I don't know around the time I began learning how to use the internet, was shot dead. This girl whose voice I'd admired as a kid, was gone. I was shocked and in denial. I cried myself to sleep that night. I always thought that every time I checked her channel once in a while, I would find a new cover. Now, I know there won't be any more. When I clicked on this amv, I didn't realise that it would be her song. For days after I found out about her death, I couldn't listen to her songs. This is the first time I've listend to Christina Grimmie's voice in a while. And I cried. RIP Christina Grimmie. God bless you.
I had 2 songs of her in my Playlist... familiar with her work I liked her as an artist... the time of her death was painful for more than 1 reason...

I used to be in a similar emotional state... For close to 30 years of my life I lambasted myself, tore myself down, but the world is hard enough as it is. Don't even let yourself lower your state. You deserve all the love you pour into others. If you're faking a smile, it's also cause you have a lot of love in your heart for those around you. You don't want to drag them down. But you're not. You're beautiful and always have been. There's always someone willing to help, but you need to forgive yourself for this pain. It started before you were strong enough to face the world, and it stayed with you for so long it became the norm. But you deserve to give yourself every bit of effort you give others.
You deserve a happy life, and that starts with self love. Don't doubt your beauty. You're not here by accident. Bless.
I think you need to hear this I wrote this as I reflected on my life and now I share this with you it starts like this As I reflect on my memories I laugh and cry, tears of joy and pain. There isn’t a blow that can hit harder than self reflection. I just hope I don’t get stuck wrapped up in the past that I forget the present. moving forward despite your past whether it was good or bad to the present moment, shows a willingness to leave behind fading memories for new ones I just don’t want to keep old memories of the good old days, but to make new good old days and so on. what will I discover in the pursuit of life I can only imagine the best but prepared for the worst. I tried too hard to change myself for everyone around me but in the end I snapped and hurt everyone around me with just my words ... everyone's gonna leave me ..then I'll be alone ...my heart hurts 💔
Every single day I ask God questions... It's the same questions everyday... I just ask him how... How do you go through the day without lying to everyone about being happy?... How do you be happy again?... It's been like this since my dog died.... He was my best friend... He saved me many times before... He had gotten very old and ended up dying in his sleep... I sometimes think why didn't I get one more day with him?... Just one more day or even one more moment would have been fine... It's been about 9-10 months since he died and I still haven't gotten any answers to the questions that I asked....
I've cried alone in my bedroom most nights... I tend to cry so long that I can't focus in class because I didn't get enough sleep... When I'm alone in my room it's hard for me sleep because I remember him and start silently crying....
I've had him for about seven years... It would have been 7 years as soon as the year 2020 began... 2020 is my first full year without him and it is just so hard... Had my first Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's day, and Halloween without him... I was going to get him a new dog collar for Christmas since his last one had broken but he died before I had the chance to buy one for him...
Im not god , but i can try answer some of those question but before i answer i just wanna say im kinda on the same " boat" not that my dog died or anything , about lying about happiness.
How do you go through the day without lying to everyone about being happy? - Sometimes we just say nothing is wrong and that everything is ok to avoid talking about our problems. ( at least on my case its like that) . We dont want to make the people worried about us , so we just lie and say we are ok and happy. We try to show everyone that we are ok by smilling and tell jokes. Until one day you cant do it anymore ( my status rn ) but you will still avoid talking about it. But something will be diferent , you wont pretend you are happy because you just cant anymore. A simple thing will make you sad and depressed.
How do you be happy again? - Still trying to figure it out.

Now I'm young and all and I often get called emotionless and or cold. I've recently gone through similar problems except for me it was 3 things
My grandma passed away on June 25 2019 and she was not the best but I still loved her she meant a lot to me
Just recently I had my uncle and my cat die in the same week I'm still recoiling from the despair glitchy kitty meant everything to me and was my last remnant of memory of my grandma
The pain will almost never go away per say and you'll never forget about your dog. I cope with this pain by conveying my pain with others who have dealt with it because even talking with someone helps. Another way is when I miss them I find the best memory I have of them and think is wallowing in sorrow what they would have wanted? I ask myself this question everyday and every day I remember the best things about them.
For the record I lost both my cat and uncle Feb 13 2020

Currently going through so health struggles. I needed to cry I needed to just feel the emotions while I worry for those results. This song as much as it hurts. It made me cry and I thank the singer (I know she's sadly not with us any more) for such a thoughtful song...honest song.

my eyes are sweating so much, I'm so glad I realised that killing myself would affect everyone, even the people who I don't know, I'm glad I've stopped cutting myself and getting the best help. I'm Happy my friends and family stood up to me and said "you mean the world to me, don't cut, don't die, I love you and I would never forgive myself if you died" I'm very grateful.

Once there was a little girl that had a good life. She was happy and joyful, well that's what people thought. She really did have a good life but she is still hurting inside.
Her parents fight all the time and she hated it. It hurt her and it hurts her even more when her dad blames her for everything; when he gets in trouble, when her dad and mom fight, and so much more. All she can do is cry at night. Nobody listens to her and understands her. It's just the same to her at school. She tries to stay strong and remember that other people have worse things happen to her, but she can't. She sometimes just wants to break down and cry, but she gets back up. She is scared to tell them what she really feels because she is scared what they will say. Once her dad was blaming her again and she just burst into tears and her mom asked why she is crying and she finally told them. Her dad didn't listen to her and she bets that her mom didn't either, so it just started all over again for her.
Her pain, sorrow, and loneliness. Even though she has two best friends and they are there for her, she still sometimes feels alone.

The truth in life, and it's only true constant. It sucks for everyone, but not always. Their are those moments that make you remember what the struggle is for. It's to find a life you can be happy with. Even if it's only temporary, and you will be ripped from those around you at some point or them from you. Make the most of it, because sadly you don't know when it could end and ending your life without having found something you can look back on fondly that will be the ultimate regret.

I've been raped and I was molested but I never cursed God. I was made to feel like I was a black sheep in my family and was an accident...I was kicked out at age 18 for losing my virginity I was attacked by the guy who took my virginity. I've been in abusive relationship and I kept praying I've worked and worked and prayed I've kept going and moving forward. My grandpa has been my guardian angel helping me stay strong. I may lose my flame but I keep going.
As a parent, I often think of the Chinese proverb "Even a tiger does not eat it's own young." I cannot understand any parent that harms their own offspring, literally worse than beasts. As long as you never break the world will crack first.
