    not to be difficult but isn't the first step if you see someone hurt to check the environment? it might not be the same in a care home but when I did safety training for a warehouse the first step was to use your eyes so you don't endanger yourself IE running off to get help if you trip over say a loose bit of carpet the same one they did you now have two hurt people?

      Yes. I think you are correct. The first thing you should do is check for danger (e.g. live electrical wire) and then do what it says in the video.

      Correct and to add onto checking your environment out you are also looking for people who might have endangered the person laying on the floor or wherever.
