“Armonie su un tema Persiano”, a traditional persian melody in a version for cello&orchestra by Enrico Melozzi, performed by the Anglo-Persian cellist Leila Shirvani with Orchestra Notturna Clandestina cunducted by Enrico Melozzi.
The theme of this song was passed on orally by Leila's persian grandfather, Hassan Shirvani. This piece was included in Leila’s latest album “Cello Konzerte”, and she has also recorded a version for cello and piano with her sister Sara for the album “Clorofilla”, produced by Paolo Fresu.
