You know what, if all they do is a Halloween cartoon each year, I'm fine with that. There's enough of a base of cartoons that I can watch them periodically and never get tired of them. Of course I'd love regular Strong Bad emails, but if they want to utilize their talents elsewhere, the Brothers Chaps have earned it.
Homestar runner was launched in the year 2000. This series is nearly 17 years old and they're still putting out cartoons with that same unique humor I fell in love with as a kid. You guys are the best.

It must be so hard to be this clever and sharp without giving into the urge to go "blue"... ...the H*R characters swearing. Even the concept seems to attack the foundations of reality as I know it. And I've got no problem with profanity...it works great in the right setting, but it would be a disaster here. Because you don't really notice that they don't swear. The dialogue doesn't read like it used to be full of obscenities and was then "sterilized"--the way some clean comedy sounds. If the writer intended a character to say _"Oh, FUCK!"_ and an editor changes it to _"Oh, DRAT!"_ , the audience can sense the dissonance. There's none of that here... when Strong Bad says "Dang muffins pie!", he *meant* to say it and isn't self-censoring😂

Its more accessible and quotable because you can share it with people of any age, and anyone can appreciate it on the same sort of level. Not to mention that swearing is a literary device we specifically use to add emphasis or weight to what we say - there's a Vsauce video that explains this in detail and I'd recommend looking it up if you haven't seen it already (it's called "#@!*$" or something). So because comedy is all about context and specific emphasis in delivery, you need to have a certain level of quality to your actual content and performance to be able to maintain a level of good comedy despite completely avoiding one of the main tools that would make it easier.
