Hindi maganda. So predictable. It was all a hype perpetrated by some fanatics who praised the person in Uninvited than the character. The truth is there was nothing new in the movie at all! It was a complete rehash of everything we watch on tv everyday. It was like a teleserye no less. Vilma, for example, was effective but not convincing as a vengeful mother. The director failed miserably navigating Vilma towards a more convincing performance. Vilma’s brand of acting did not work this time. Similarly, Aga must be fine but he as well failed meeting the jurors’ standards. His noninclusion does not make him less of a good actor just that as to taste, to each his own.
Eugene has already proven herself in the Philippines and has also gained international recognition. She is globally acknowledged for her talent. I'm not quite sure what the judges meant by saying they "want something different from her." She's already showcased a wide range of skills-unless they're suggesting she take on roles like a sexy star😂

Naniwala ka naman sa MMFF juror. If that's their criteria, they should have let Voice win since it's his first drama role, or Julia minutes for her first action drama role. Hindi sila consistent at may pinapaboran ang MMFF. Please lang Star Cinema and Vice, don't participate in the next MMFF. The other films are complaining they don't have enough cinemas kahit wala naman nanunuod sa kanila. So let them fight it out next year, focus on the regular run where they get more gross. Best Picture includes many stakeholders and is general quality; best director is a recognition of how the director made the film as accurate and true to the story through actors’ portrayal. Kung nasarapan ka sa karekare at kalahatan ng dining experience, BEST PICTURE (restaurant). Kung specific ang paghanga mo sa karekare, BEST DRECTOR (chef).
