What Does New-Found Water on Mars Mean for life?

  • Life, as we know it on Earth, needs liquid water to survive. In 2015, NASA scientists announced the historic discovery stating that, under certain circumstances, liquid water was found on Mars.
The discovery could not have been possible without a rover called Curiosity that landed on Mars in 2012, and it has since found building blocks of life in an ancient lake bed.
DCODE the continuing journey of Curiosity and the hunt for life on the red planet.

There’s a popular theory about that and it’s most likely correct. Mars probably looked just like Earth before and had life. However, the core of the planet gradually cooled down, causing it to lose its magnetic fields which led the planet to be unprotected from solar flares which eventually turned Mars into what it is today.

If the wheel on the rover is hollow, why didn’t they fit it with retractable paddles so it could easily handle the sand?

I know this video is old, but I think we started in Mercury, due to the Sun being so hot over the years, we moved to Venus. After Venus, we moved to earth, and since the Sun is getting hotter and bigger, Mars will be habitable and, be our new planet. Maybe in 10,000 years, Earth will be in the same situation as Venus and Mercury.

Mars called the Red planet has iron or rust which happens when moisture causes oxygenation of iron or what we call rust. With ice at the polar areas of Mars what took the NASA an eternity to claim water there?

@@zainboy8122 because the universe is a big place and we won't live forever. hell, people born today will probably be dead by the time human life on mars is fully possible. life is just too short I probably won't live to the day we get to live on mars. Earth just isn't future proof. I know everyone wants to believe that we can save earth and turn around climate change but it simply is not possible. the world is not run by people, its run by money. as long as money exists, factories will not stop producing CO2. The fact is, there will be another world war, this time with all these nuclear and atomic weapons being thrown all over the place, not to mention nice space weapons as well. The world is a time bomb, every second we get closer and closer to either an uninhabitable earth or global destruction. Humanity needs another planet to slowly destroy.

why don't they build a walking machine? that thing will be able to climb up even with the sand. they just need to make it so it won't slip, is easy to fall or will sink into the sand. and when it falls, it is able to get itself up. so basically a robot. wheels are clearly not handy on mars.
bruh i got this inspiration in a quite weird way. i was playing minecraft and saw you could build a walking house so i was like you know what? lets just fucking do that xd.
