I definitely see why mauvika got a nerf, the problem is that shes a pyro dps. The more they nerf her the more they are going to compare her to arlecchino. The reason she had such high dmg before was to justify pulling her even if you already had arlecchino, because the difference was so big. Now that shes closer to arlecchino, why should someone who has a well built arlecchino pull for her? I honestly think that they should focus more on her off field capabilities. The reign of Xiangling needs to come to an end.
Truth, a pyro applicator equivalent to Nahida and dendro is what I was hoping for. We just got Arlecchino relatively speaking and she's running again in 5.3, so we don't really need another pyro dps this soon. I have C1 Arly and it's probably smarter for me to get C2 instead of the pyro archon and that makes me sad. Squandered potential.

You cant pull and max out every single "best" DPS in the game unless you donate a lot. And you dont have to. The same true for supports. How much good supports we got since release? Lets take a look: Venti, Bazooka, Yelan, Nahida, Furina and Kitty the Smith. Neither of them mandatory. But you easily can pick 2-3 to have some stars in constellations to get some nice value. So, imo, it is pretty nice that Bennett and XL are still good in their roles. And if we talk about Mavuika, for me her weakest point is her big regional dependancy.

Xingling is both broken in that her application is NUTS, AND broken in thar she's useless and no fun at all in any other way and requires a highly specialized build to even use her...and even THEN she's a pain. Mavuika could have broken this by splitting the difference... not infinite ICD but hard to use, instead give her 1.5 second application/ICD, and for her c2 that atk buff sfould be on the whole team, plus the Def shred. With both of those changes, while still inferior to both, she'd be useful by at least coming close to their utility, but also consolidating their limited utility into 1 character.
My interest in Mavuika decreases with every single thing I hear about her kit. Part of me wants to continue collecting archons... but unless she's shockingly impressive on release I'm definitely going to wait-if I end up grabbing her at all. While I'm glad they're possibly not making this traveler useless... probably not good that I'm *way* more excited for Pyro Traveler than for the Pyro Archon......

I think people werent looking at the dmg she was doing beforehand. She was hitting c6 lvls of investment numbers at like c2 and people were even afraid she would break the balance even though units like neuvi exsist. I think she'll still be top dps especially with her optimal team plus she has the off field and support. I do wish they buff exploration cause them timers are embarrassing.

Mavuika’s nerf was DEFINITELY needed. She was the best dps in the. Game at c0 by like 30%. Now she’s only like 8-10% better than everyone else. Citlali nerf wasn’t necessary at all. Her shield still needs a serious buff. Pyro traveler got a super minor damage nerf. But the cd reduction on skill actually makes the total changes a minor buff. And Lanyan’s shield going from 8 to 12 seconds is a MASSIVE increase in her defensive utility. Though they should decrease the cd on the skill to give her 100% uptime, bc the shield currently isnt very strong.
Mavuika's nerfs are really great, you don't wanna wake up someday to find out your arleccino, hutao, etc are benched. Her nerfs, if we can even call them that, are just necessary. However, did they just remove a 10% of her buff to put it in C4?😂I kinda hope that her exploration mechs will receive some good changes cus the fact that the buffs are in C6 is a bit too much, also I really hope they buff the traveler more like that.

Citlali's damage nerf is alright because she was a support to begin with, Mavuika's nerf was already expected, those multipliers were too big to be true for Genshin standards, My goal stands clear still, Gonna go for C0R1 Citlali for my C2R1 Chasca and will pull for my Arle's weapon and get her some constellations, maybe C1 or C2, My Arle is currently holding a fake scythe 💀

So if a unit does 1 million damage but every boss has 500k HP, whenever hoyo decides to buff enemy HP said unit will still be able to take bosses out effectively. You basically want DPS carry’s to be broken so they age better
Lowkey, i never wanted to pull for mavuika, her playstyle doesn't appeal to me, i don't really cafe about her kit and whatnot, so this doesn't affect me. But i NEED citlali so bad.. And that nerf hits right at home
@@AbolfazleFarajzade-t2y I think same way. Citlalali did at highest 5% of team damage so it going done does hardly change anything. Rather than em scaling damage I would like higher shield strenght. Definitely not zhongli level but at least close to layla. Just enough to survive one or two big hits but not enough to ignore all attacks. I still like to dodge with shield since I play arlecchino without shields I have gotten used to dodging. Overworld grass does hurt though.
Yeah she just has too much going for her as a support she has shield she does res shred for hydro and pyro she can use cinder city and she can use ttds in attack scaling teams so she's really good for hydro and pyro character and she probably gets better if an melt pyro DPS or an frozen hydro DPS get released (the character that probably gonna be the best user of new event sword)
So, right now, Lan Yan has a 12.5s duration shield, with 16s cooldown, said shield recovers durability with the C2 and it has an extra stack at C6 ? That's ... A comfortable uptime. With TTDS and 4VV, dhe might actually become really nice in my Arleccino Monopyro team.
C2 Citlali and C6 Lanyan are my goals, so I really hope both come together in the same banner. Also, I really have some faith for Pyro traveler lol I'm thinking in some teams where I could test him.
As one have just hu tao it’s makes me happy mavuika be dps and have some support things cuz i get bored from routine and she have a fantastic play style not matter she stronger than arlicceino or weaker i need feel the enjoyment by something new
Maybe they consider the fact that Mavuika is too broken so they nerf her down a bit. But we never know coz all factors like EM, elemental reactions, etc also matter. They used to nerf furina in the beta too and she's still broken till now😂

i don't understand why they make Maviuka a main dps when we have Arlecchino who have been released 2 patches before Natlan. WHat's the point to put them in the same banners? Why pull Arlecchino if Maviuka is going to power creep her?

The nerfs were expected but still to me in terms of logic she is supposed to be the Goddess of War, Mavuika cannot be weaker than others pyro DPS like Arlechino, but looking at the damage, Arlechino will still Reins, so why calling Mavuika the strongest? Also in Natlan she is called the stronges but then we have Kinich and Mualani doing better than the "Goddess of War" LOL.

Also when it comes to exploration Arlecchino is shit compared to Mauvika. That's also an important part not just damage.
mavuika's kit was already disappointing as it was. now i'm even more disappointed. at first i really want to pull for her because she's a good character and i expect her kit to be good in an archon's standard. now, each time i hear about her kit, i'm rethinking my choices.
i'm honestly really disapointed with mavuika, at first, i expected her to be an artifact enabler for Natlan artifacts for non natlan characters like how Furina did to Marechaussee Hunter Artifact Set to non fontaine characters. I've been farming that natlan artifact domain for months since it came out for this... I guess I'll stop farming that domain now...

I have been playing this game for 4 yrs as f2p and can complete all end game modes with ease. Now I just pull for characters I like and I must complete my archon collection. So, nerf or not I am going to pull for her anuways.
Her nerf isn't that bad her supporting and sheilding is still really good for hydro and pyro characters she just deals less damage that wasn't mains point of her kit

tbh genshin is so easy, you not look on numbers, its better to go for waifu/husbando>meta . so I not care about nerfs or dmg numbers I like mavuika and I want try to c6/s1 her regardless. so yeah "For Natlan" =D
Furina isn't good for Arlecchino, and Mavuika is another Pyro DPS, looks like a skip to me, but Furina has far better utility in other teams, and i'd say she's a must pull
If u are thinking of pairing Furina with father, it'll go horribly. BUT if u are looking for a support unit, Furina is a must pull, she's carried me hard in the past few months. And her buffs are crazy good. As for mavuika, idgaf what anyone says, I love her playstyle. The motorcycle is what turns off the other players but that if exactly what I like. Aesthetics aside, she'll surpass arle as a dps, so if ur arle isn't well built or poorly built and isn't hitting as hard as she should, u might go for mavuika or even arle's cons. And from what beta testers have said, mav pairs fantastically well with citlali and Pyro mc so u could think of doing that as well but then you'd have to build 3 characters at once, do it ONLY if u have the time and energy for it. True but just run a ER Recharge weapon and another pyro unit (Which you should be doing anyway for resonance) and you'll get her burst every rotation

Lowkey, i never wanted to pull for mavuika, her playstyle doesn't appeal to me, i don't really cafe about her kit and whatnot, so this doesn't affect me. But i NEED citlali so bad.. And that nerf hits right at home

@@AbolfazleFarajzade-t2y I think same way. Citlalali did at highest 5% of team damage so it going done does hardly change anything. Rather than em scaling damage I would like higher shield strenght. Definitely not zhongli level but at least close to layla. Just enough to survive one or two big hits but not enough to ignore all attacks. I still like to dodge with shield since I play arlecchino without shields I have gotten used to dodging. Overworld grass does hurt though.
Yeah she just has too much going for her as a support she has shield she does res shred for hydro and pyro she can use cinder city and she can use ttds in attack scaling teams so she's really good for hydro and pyro character and she probably gets better if an melt pyro DPS or an frozen hydro DPS get released (the character that probably gonna be the best user of new event sword)

Maybe they consider the fact that Mavuika is too broken so they nerf her down a bit. But we never know coz all factors like EM, elemental reactions, etc also matter. They used to nerf furina in the beta too and she's still broken till now😂

In my opinion, they should nerf Mavuika's onfield capabilities by another 20%, and buff her off field and support capabilities by that amount.

The nerfs were expected but still to me in terms of logic she is supposed to be the Goddess of War, Mavuika cannot be weaker than others pyro DPS like Arlechino, but looking at the damage, Arlechino will still Reins, so why calling Mavuika the strongest? Also in Natlan she is called the stronges but then we have Kinich and Mualani doing better than the "Goddess of War" LOL.

Also when it comes to exploration Arlecchino is shit compared to Mauvika. That's also an important part not just damage.
Im only really interested in citlali, so losing some burst damage for a far better c4 and DOUBLE damage potential at c6 is INSANE

Furina isn't good for Arlecchino, and Mavuika is another Pyro DPS, looks like a skip to me, but Furina has far better utility in other teams, and i'd say she's a must pull

If u are thinking of pairing Furina with father, it'll go horribly. BUT if u are looking for a support unit, Furina is a must pull, she's carried me hard in the past few months. And her buffs are crazy good.
As for mavuika, idgaf what anyone says, I love her playstyle. The motorcycle is what turns off the other players but that if exactly what I like.
Aesthetics aside, she'll surpass arle as a dps, so if ur arle isn't well built or poorly built and isn't hitting as hard as she should, u might go for mavuika or even arle's cons. And from what beta testers have said, mav pairs fantastically well with citlali and Pyro mc so u could think of doing that as well but then you'd have to build 3 characters at once, do it ONLY if u have the time and energy for it.

All the astroturfed hyped up Arlecchino does is deal damage. Mauvika deals just as much damage as her while buffing herself and the team.
