I really missed you, often times I searched your account to see any new video, ended up re watching your old videos. I am following you since 8 to 9 years. You are my favorite person on RUclips ❤
I am pregnant with our second one now, also a boy, and I really appreciate you highlighting the difficultly of not being able to spend as much time with your first but that it is fun to watch her bond grow with her dad. I’m already mourning the loss of time with my daughter so hearing some hope in that was much needed 🧡
Your transparency is so refreshing. We can be in an incredible season of life and still have rough/sad days and that's ok. Everything is temporary so hang in there! Soon you will be remembering this time and laughing about it. Sending you love! ❤
I was tearing up and I don’t even have kids 🥹 You’re such a calm human Jess, I’m sure your parenting is just amazing and I’m glad your babies got such a sweet mother and inspiration in life ❤
I had our second (a boy) 5 months ago, and our oldest is also 2 (and a girl) so our kids are close in age! Now that I am 5 months post partum, I feel like things are so much more smooth, and I wish my newly post partum self could see how we're all doing now. I agree that the transition to two is harder and WAY more emotional! I think around months 3 and 4 I really started noticing that we were getting into more of a routine. It's so hard in the beginning but you gradually start to get into a groove eventually, especially once baby starts napping and sleeping better :) You'll even return to having more time with your oldest! I promise that it does get easier! Some days you'll feel like you can totally do life with two kids, other days it feels impossible, and then eventually there are more good days than bad days 💗
My first is 2 years old and my second is 6 months old so I can totally relate to how you’re feeling! It took until my second was about 4 months old to finally feel like we had a good routine and could start trying to establish naps etc. Now that my youngest is 6 months old, I get one on one time with my toddler during her first nap and I get one on one with the baby during the first half of my toddler’s nap which has been so needed and so special! Hang in there, it truly gets better💛
My sweet Jess!! I have no kids and yet you made me cry talking about the future and how you're gonna remember this part of your babies lives and be nostalgic about it❤ Sending you and your beautiful family a huuuuge hug and lots and lots of blessings✨
When I had my first, postpartum depression hit me really bad. I was crying, even when I didn’t know why sometimes, felt unmotivated but also felt like I needed to accomplish things that were unrealistic at the time, and trying to figure out what in the world I was doing. I was given lots of advice but it seemed more pressuring and disappointing when I didn’t go through with the advice I wanted to take. It took me about a year to recover and actually feel like I could do things and be myself again. Sometimes it feels like getting through that stage takes forever, but, like you and your mother said, it won’t last forever. What helped was remembering that I was so loved by my husband, my baby, and by my Father in Heaven and Savior. Knowing you’re not alone and there are people who truly support and want to help you is such a healing feeling. Another helpful thing was that every day is not going to be the way you want it to look, but if you’re family is happy, healthy, and taken care of, you’ve had a good successful day. Good things take time and a great deal of patience, but they ALWAYS come. Hang in there. You’re doing better than you think you are.
Hi Jess. I am now 7 months postpartum with my first baby, a boy too 🩵 & I was very encouraged by what you/your Mum said : this won’t last forever and I will want these moments back one day. A good reminder for the sleepless nights 🥹
WELCOME BACK!!!!! You’re definitely my favorite RUclipsr and yesterday I was watching a video of you cleaning the house from 4 years ago (so I could get some inspiration to clean the house as well 😂)
7:43 advice! Second took a while for routine to solidify for me too! Look for patterns. Don’t force the routine, but instead try to slow down and notice what rhythms occur naturally. That really helped me with baby #3! 5 months almost 6 postpartum, and this was the most successful because of this approach.
Congrats on your little boy 🥹🤍 I’m 10 weeks in with my first and right there with you in the postpartum feels (ALL of them)! It was also so encouraging to hear you at the end be so vulnerable, and to hear that it WILL get better and that we’ll miss the teeny tiny baby days (even though they may feel tough). Hang in there, fellow mumma - we’re doing great! 🫶🏻
I’m almost 2 weeks pp with my second. I got emotional when you were talking about those nights. When I have a rough day I’m reminding myself that days are long but years are short. They grow up so fast🥲 my son is the same age as your daughter and my second (daughter) is the same age as your son. It’s so nice to be able to relate so much to you. And I’ve been watching your journey since dating Gabe.
I was so excited to see your video come up. I'm 6 months pregnant with my first. I cannot wait to watch my family grow. Can't wait to see all your festive vlogs, yay!! ❤
so so happy to have you back and have these little updates and that everything is going back to new "normal" with the arrival of little cuba boy 💛 can't wait to see all the Christmas decor and activities with kaia and cuba 🥰
You got this momma ❤️❤️ I had my second this past February, my son's are 25 months apart- I see you, I understand you, I feel you. Going from 1 to 2 was harder for me than going from 0 to 1, but it's getting easier day by day. Know you aren't alone❤️❤️
Your gonna be the most amazing mom Jess! Your kids are so blessed to have you guys as parents I have been watching your mommy videos it’s so relaxing and beautiful to see you as a mom ❤❤
Even though it's been hard for me to relate to you, since I'm not in the same season of life as you, I feel so happy for you and your family, Jess! It's always relaxing and inspiring watching your videos💖
congrats! My baby boy is 8 months old now (youngest of 4) and looking back at my postpartum journey I cried every day for a week. Giving birth is "common" but the experience and the feel is anything but. Congrats momma, you are awesome!
Oh man i didn’t expect to tear up with you at the end 🥺 we had our first baby (a boy too!) about a month after you so i really feel you here 💙 i hope you find your rhythms as a family of 4 soon 🙏🏻
Mum of 4, youngest currently 4 months and oldest 6 years old! I kind of felt more stable in routine from about 3 months onwards. Once they’re awake more and can make their schedule known to you at semi regular times. Only now, I am able to handle having all 4 with me. But also remember as the baby grows, your other child/kids are too so it gets easier day by day! Give yourself grace and know that it will be easier
I am so glad to hear you’re doing well! For us we have two kids with about the same exact age gap as your kiddos. It was really tough for us until we hit 3 months. Then it started getting easier! Praying for you guys in this seasons! You’ve got this ! ❤
Going from 1 to 2 was tough on me too, especially feeling sad for missing moments with my son who is older. It’s still tough now with them being 2 and almost 9 months, but I think a few months in it started to feel more routine. Give yourself all the grace 🤍 you guys are awesome parents
I have a toddler and an almost 4 month old baby, in the beginning it was HELL for me, I thought what have I done and I almost completely lost my sanity but around the 2.5 month mark it started getting better. Now, my toddler naps once a day and I have that aligned with one of my baby's lengthier naps and their bed time is also the same. So we have this whole routine going on and it works great for us and honestly I am pretty proud of myself. So, hang in there it'll work itself out.
Hey Jess! My second is 8 weeks (so we are 1 week ahead of you!) we honestly still don’t have a routine like we did with our first but feel we slowly are getting there each day! 100% agree with how special it is watching the bond with dad and our first 😊 We are so lucky with what god has blessed us with ❤
Our girls were 3 years apart. We kept our oldest on her schedule. So I did do that same schedule with the new baby too. Of course the baby would need more attention for feeding times. But doing the same bedtime and bath time and play time etc all from the start did help and got the new baby on schedule very quick.
Hi Jess!! I’m so glad you’ve been doing well, especially after your 2nd pregnancy! 💗 Also, I hope you’re mentally and emotionally staying strong after the passing of Liam (you’ve been openly one of the biggest Directioners, and I know this hits so hard and close to home). I’ve been struggling with the news myself, but I hope you’re doing okay and moving through it. Please take care ❤
Watched your whole video and i just wanna add this, i read somewhere that women who get epidural often feel this way later cause the pain comes out somehow. So just think of these emotions as those suppressed emotions and pain or hurt thats coming out now. And don't take whatever thoughts you have rn seriously. When hormones and chemicals in our body are off, they affect your thoughts too. Your body went through quite a bit so.. And if you need any help, pls reach out to a professional. You're doing great Jess. Sending love! ❤
Ahh Jess!!! I can’t wait to see more videos from you and I love seeing you as a mother of two. 🥹 it’s so sweet and I see that you’ve been glowing ever since. I am so inspired by you and many other girls are also inspired as well. Thank you for always being a loyal person to RUclips and it’s so fun to see your day to day life. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Awe Jess, this was so nice! I’m so thankful you’re doing well! I’ve always heard after #2 it’s harder emotionally, but you’re doing so amazing and I so appreciate you being so vulnerable! I don’t have kids yet, but I’m so thankful that you’ve shared your journey because I truly feel so prepared and excited because you do such an amazing job speaking on being a mom! Thank you for being such a light and role model. I hope you keeping healing and just get to soak up this precious time! I love you and your sweet fam so much and am praying for you all! I can’t wait for the vlogs!! ❤️❤️
So happy to see you back! Happy you’re doing well and the kiddos are bonding. I just found out I’m pregnant with our first so I’ve been watching all your baby videos
My 1st was born a couple months before Makaiah and my 2nd was born end of June so its great going through this with you!! In terms of when things get smoother with the 2nd, first started around 10 weeks she would be ok away from me for 5 minutes haha. Now she is almost 4 months and we have a rythmic flow of things, but not quite a routine. We have moved towns, and been sick so much in these postpartum months so It has been the hardest but best time of my life!! I'm so thankful for my little blessings.
I’m right there with you! My boy is almost two and I have a 7 week old baby girl! The postpartum hormones are real and it’s such a sweet and hard season at the same time! Currently figuring out how to do this with my husband being back to work all day 😅
I started to cry even before you did😂🙈 I have a 4.5 month old daughter, it’s so good to feel that I’m not alone in this stage of life. We’re not very easy with my husband (her father). These rough nights get me hard, but every day I remind myself that it definitely gets better!
Thank you Jess and Gabriel for sharing with us that part of your way. Thank you a lot for being real also about giving birth and being Mum and Dad! Wish you good luck for getting some sleep. Thank you so much for updating us. Hope you find your very individual and good way (!) back into some routine and all the workstuff! Love, N.
I’m so happy your back!! I have your videos so much! Congratulations on your baby boy!!! I’m so happy for you, Jess! I have been watching and subscribed to your channel for a while now and I just wanted to say that I love your channel so much! you are one of my favorites and you are such an inspiration 🩷🫶🏻 hope you’re doing well!!
We love you so much Jess. I am so so glad ur back :) I ordered your 'good to know' heart hoodie 2 weeks ago since I've been missing your uploads made me think to get some cute merch. Cannot wait to receive it. Lots and lots of love and cannot wait to see your vlogs again!! ❤
I'm so happy we've had babies around the same time. I just had my first two weeks ago.. I'm so exhausted and craving routine but cry at the thought of her getting bigger. She's just curled up on my chest right now and I never want it to end 😭❤️
My babies are 3yrs old and 1yrs old. There is 16 months between them. I would say around the time the youngest is 3/4 months is when the daily routines felt more natural. I’ve always focused more on bedtime and morning routines and then have less structure in between and that has worked for us. Bedtime in my opinion the most important as with a bit of luck you may manage to get your evenings back which is crucial for your marriage. Mine and my partners evenings have been the saviour of our relationship and stopped us ever having the “roommate” phase from being so burnt out. Sending love and health to your beautiful family ❤️
I just had my second 3 months ago! And we’re in a pretty solid routine. Although we have been blessed with a great sleeper this time around, so that makes it a lot easier! I feel like the last couple of weeks it’s just been alot easier and she is a lot less “fragile” now and I think that helps a ton!
I had 2 under 2 (pregnant with #3 now) and I would say it went by twos as far as getting better! The first two weeks were incredibly hard, the first two months it was a little better but still hard, by 4 months I really felt we were in a groove with our routine and doing well and by 6 months it was not "easy" but everything felt so doable and so fun! At 6 months baby #2 is really interacting with your family and the world and you get to see the bond growing every day between your oldest and youngest. It's SO much fun!
Ah Jess!! Hi!! I missed you! 🥹❤️ im glad you got to take a longer amount of time of work this round and that your mum and mom in law got to stay with you! Im sorry this postpartum has been harder emotionally ❤️ i had my daughter back in February this year (my first baby!) and postpartum emotions were really challenging for me too. I definitely got a little emotional with you when you did haha 🥲❤️ the advice you shared is such a good reminder❤️ I’m sorry Cuba ended up being breech after all you went through! But im so glad the birth still went well! I was praying for guys! God is good!! I love you guys!!!🥹❤️❤️
LORD WILLING !!!!! OUR HEAVENLY FATHER YAHAWAH BAHA SHAM YAHAWASHI WILL LET SO CALLED KAMALA HARRIS WIN AND WE'LL GO INTO QUARANTINE MODE AND SHUT DOWN 👎👇 ALL OF THE SO CALLED GAS STATIONS AND HOSPITALS AND MALLS AND SCHOOLS AND STORES AND GROCERY STORES AND THROUGH THE POWER OF HIS LEFT HAND SIDE.
firstly congrats!!! mumma of two here. things got better around 6 months with naps and feeding. the first 2 months were defo really challenging for us and trying to deal with naps with a newborn and a 2yr old. but divide and conquer is a really good strategy lol
currently in a difficult time with my 5 month old baby girl's sleep routine. what you mentioned at the end was so true and clearly came from a soft heart :') it's so odd being ready for them to grow but also not wanting them to.
two under two mom here, and after our second i would say routines came into place around 7/8 ish months. whenever baby starts having a consistent sleep schedule 🥲
HI Jess! A mom here (from the Netherlands). I have a boy who is 2,5 years old and a daughter who is now 4 months old, so kind of the same like you! I feel like you can build a routine after the baby is 8 weeks old (because your baby then produces melatonin). I think it depends on the baby, but i find it really helps to start the day around the same time (feeding the baby) and try to breastfed the baby during the day around the same time. (for example 7am - 11am - 3pm -6pm o clock) And after the last feed bring the baby to bed. :) It takes a couple of weeks (and depends on the baby) but now i only have one night feed (most nights, ofcourse it varies).. Sometime one around 11pm and one around 3/4pm but sometimes just one around 3oclock. And yes, always think: it's a phase! But im looking forward to the time when my girl is 1 years old, i find its more easier then. :)
My postpartum with my second was harder emotionally as well. As for the routine, I recommend trying to get them on the same schedule! So what I did was make sure to bathe them together and put them to bed at the same time. That seemed to help. I started that ASAP. Just to get the baby on some kind of routine. Now he’s 8 months and the schedule is so nice. Now I’m working on nap time at the same time
I really missed you, often times I searched your account to see any new video, ended up re watching your old videos. I am following you since 8 to 9 years. You are my favorite person on RUclips ❤
same!
Same with me!!
Same here!
Same!!
Same 🥹😭
Your transparency is so refreshing. We can be in an incredible season of life and still have rough/sad days and that's ok. Everything is temporary so hang in there! Soon you will be remembering this time and laughing about it. Sending you love! ❤

Yay, she’s back! Love your little family 🤍
Biggest smile on my face when I saw you were back. Much love ✨🤍

Going from 1 to 2 was tough on me too, especially feeling sad for missing moments with my son who is older. It’s still tough now with them being 2 and almost 9 months, but I think a few months in it started to feel more routine. Give yourself all the grace 🤍 you guys are awesome parents

The only thing that lasts forever is the love that the kids feel
Our girls were 3 years apart. We kept our oldest on her schedule. So I did do that same schedule with the new baby too. Of course the baby would need more attention for feeding times. Yay you’re back!! I missed you girly but glad that you were able to get some time off and enjoy all those baby snuggles 🥹💖 so happy for you and Gabe!
We missed you on YT Jess! Glad to see you are back! xx
I have a one year old girl (first born) and I‘m still VERY emotional, I started to tear up with you!
Lots of Love to the 4 of you
I just had my second 3 months ago!
This is so encouraging to hear. Thank you!! 🥰
Ah Jess!! Hi!! I missed you! 🥹❤️ im glad you got to take a longer amount of time of work this round and that your mum and mom in law got to stay with you! Im sorry this postpartum has been harder emotionally ❤️ i had my daughter back in February this year (my first baby!) and postpartum emotions were really challenging for me too. currently in a difficult time with my 5 month old baby girl's sleep routine. what you mentioned at the end was so true and clearly came from a soft heart :') it's so odd being ready for them to grow but also not wanting them to.

two under two mom here, and after our second i would say routines came into place around 7/8 ish months. whenever baby starts having a consistent sleep schedule 🥲
i’m so early! congrats to you and gab and so happy that cuba is healthy
So glad you’re healing well ❤
Hi jess!!!! Happy to have you back 💛
We love you Jess!
I missed you Jess💛
Wishing yall so much love and joy. Welcome cuba to the world ❤
My postpartum with my second was harder emotionally as well. As for the routine, I recommend trying to get them on the same schedule! So what I did was make sure to bathe them together and put them to bed at the same time. That seemed to help. I started that ASAP. Just to get the baby on some kind of routine. Now he’s 8 months and the schedule is so nice. Now I’m working on nap time at the same time
Omg so glad the ecv worked !!!
So happy to see you back here ❤
