Brad, I really want to upgrade my ATC 20 ASL PRO with this new tweeters. Any chance of buying a pair of this for upgrading myself? What's the price includes delivery to Hong Kong?
I’m considering buying the SCM25a speakers in the next few weeks here. I will, say it kinda set me back that I’d be getting an OEM tweeter from another manufacture for the SCM25a. Sucks to be a tweeter away from a truly perfect nearfield monitior. Any idea when you all will upgrade the 25’s to the in-house tweeter?
Know what you mean and if you want ATC's tweeter check out the SCM20A or SCM45A, you'll definitely get higher resolution as expected in the top end. That being said, some people prefer the sound of the 25A. There's currently no word as to if/when the 25A will be changed.
It is not a good comparison. You are comparing apples to pears. If you really want to compare the tweeter made by you with the one from the competition, take a look at SB Acoustics Satori TW29BN or Scan-Speak Illuminator D3004/664000. What you did there,..it's not fair.
