    Like your reviews. I have two Nautiluses in one I run a 50/50 mix the other a 30/70 mix. Don't have to many issues. Had a learning curve. Now just learned a little more from your video. Thank you for taking the time posting your videos.

    Burnt new head is minimal juice burning.
    These are ceramic heads.
    Do Not waste heads tossing NEW ones from a saturating mistake.
    Remove head
    Rinse well or soak in Grain alcohol then rinse
    Allow to dry
    Attach to base and install on mod
    Dry burn by pulsing until no No smoke/vapor is seen
    Rinse well and let dry
    Prime properly and enjoy!

    if you get a dud coil, sometimes all you gotta do is poke a needle through one of the holes and BAM works perfect in most cases. dont know why this works but worth a shot

    !!_!! Wallmart has baby bottle brushes that fit perfectly into Aspire coils. Remove the positive contact and you have to bend the positive wire so it stays hooked onto the edge of the rubber piece. I scrub the carbon off.then I rinse with hot water , then rubbing alcohol to soak out the gunky water. Then I set it on a hair dryer on lowest setting until dry. Then I take a soldering iron and put it into the middle to burn off the cotton hairs that stick out into the center chamber after brushing. I go ahead and use it after that, but there is some small amounts of burnt cotton left inside after the soldering iron so you could i you wanted to rinse with alcohol again and dry again. But they taste like new and the cotton turns white again. (be care ful with the soldering iron it heats up the whole thing pretty fast) The cheap red-orange ones work the best because of the tip thickness and length. !!_!!
    (this method gives the best results if you don't drag out the cotton and wire.)

    The best cleaning method I've found is using 3 minute denture cleaning tablets.They come out looking and working like brand new.You have to rinse them good after soaking or they have a minty taste for a while.I've used it on Bvc,.kangertech, even vivi nova and it works great.I only clean them twice and then discard them but i get a month or more out of each coil.

    I like the 1.6 ohm BVC coils in bot the Aspire Mini Nautilus and Aspire K1. I think the K1 is an awesome clearomizer but the amount of liquid it holds is small. In both of these tanks I have just plain gotten a head that doesn't work right. It won't prime right and it wont draw well. I just toss them out and move on the the next one. When you get one that is working right it is a very nice vape.

    Great video.I am new to vaping been a little over 2 weeks.I will say I did have a lot of trouble with the coils in the beginning. I would also recommend priming them before putting them in . Sometimes putting them in and letting them soak and taking a couple pulls off it without firing is still not enough. So far iv been putting a few drops right in the coil and on the outside and so far it's been much better. IV seen a lot of people saying that they are getting weeks and months off these coils I don't think it's possible in my opinion 4-7 days max heavy daily vaping. It does really suck paying $17 for a pack of coils and throwing 1 or 2 away. Though I would throw my experience out there keep on vaping.

      Can you tip juice into the middle of the coil won't it come through the breath pipe ?

    • @jasonchampagne8958
      @jasonchampagne8958 9 лет назад

      Matowix Before you put the new coil in take the dropper or tip from the bottle and put 3-4 good drops in it. Fill the tank and put it together and let it sit a fe we minutes to make sure it's good and saturated. If you don't drown the coil in juice you should be fine. Don't forget a new coil is dry so it will absorb a good amount of juice when you put a new one in. IV been vaping about a month now and just got a sub tank mini with a Sigelei 150w. I'm never going back to cigarettes.

    • @Matowix
      @Matowix 9 лет назад

      Jason Champagne I drowned the coil but haven't fired it yet what should I do

    • @jasonchampagne8958
      @jasonchampagne8958 9 лет назад

      Matowix Be patient I know it can be frustrating in the beginning. Take the tank off so you can see down into the coil dry it out with a little piece of rolled up paper towel. Put it back together and try and fire it and take some puffs.You might get a little sputter of juice in your mouth it won't kill you. Spit it out if you want and drink some water.

    Personally I let my bvc coils sit over night after I replace them to let them soak up. I have gone thru about 15 coils since I started. Using the nautilus and not one of them have been bad. They last an average of two weeks per coil never sacrificing flavor

    • @sarahsmiles2850
      @sarahsmiles2850 9 лет назад

      The lower the ohms the more vapor production but they tend to use more battery power and more e liquid.

    • @sarahsmiles2850
      @sarahsmiles2850 9 лет назад

      Also the lower the ohm the lower the the voltage you can run it at. If you have a 1.6ohm coil you dont want to be running it at say 6 volts or youll pop the coil real quick. Does that make a little bit more sense.

  • @sarahsmiles2850

    I dont know what happened but i paid $17 for the package of aspire bvc replacement heads and at least half of them were total garbage i think you get 6 in a pack. I must have got the short stick on the ones i bought because i felt totally ripped off.

    I find that maybe as many as 20% of my new coils (1 out of 5) are useless. With a new, freshly opened coil, I can draw on the coil. With these rejects, I can barely get any airflow through them at all. This is before installing into any tank, just the coil head alone. I have found no solution to this and was hoping to find it here. Oh well. At about $2 per coil, it's irritating to have such a high reject rate. I've been using them for years (since before this video was published) and the reject rate seems to be much higher now.

    Thanks for the info. So if I am not mistaken Aspire makes two different bvc's, do you know if this is correct? I have an aspire sr72/et-s tank, and my local vape shop (the owner) told me they didn't make and bvc's for that tank. Any info helps, thanks man. Happy Holidays!

    • @XavesVapes
      @XavesVapes  9 лет назад

      That I am aware, they make BVC coils for the Nautilus tanks - and also a different type for the fusion tanks - not something reviewed here at all.

    • @jeetsracing2012
      @jeetsracing2012 9 лет назад +1

      Your shop is wrong. They make what are called non nautilus bvc coils that fit anything that had aspires bdc. Bottom dual coil. My girl just got a blue et and from many videos ive seen on here. The bvc fits it and capes better then the bdc. I also have the aspire k1 which is ment for the bvc. I went 3 and a half weeks and I'm soaking my first coil now preparing it for cleaning. Go online and u will see they have different bvc coils.

    • @derrickforeal

      Xaves Vapes the k1. Is the best deal it's as good or better than the Nautilus without the air flow ring is the only difference easy to modify drill and tap your own and then there's a spanner tap you can put on for less than 50 cents

    I have a Nautilus Mini and I do all the priming steps and I've gone through 8 coils in 5 days. They all taste great for 2 hrs tops then start tasting really bland then burnt. I only run mine on a pen style battery. This is my first experience vaping and so far not to pleased.Any sujestions

    • @RichardHannam
      @RichardHannam 8 лет назад

      +Brandon Tipton They really should be lasting a couple of weeks rather than a couple of hours! The obvious possibility is that there's too much power going through them. You don't say what battery/mod you're using. However, anything above 12 watts (4.8 volts) could burn the coil. High VG and/or high sugar juices can kill the coils quickly too. Less likely is that the coils are clones.

    • @brandontipton1268
      @brandontipton1268 8 лет назад

      I'm just using a pen style battery 1100mah nothing special just from a basic vape pen

    • @RichardHannam
      @RichardHannam 8 лет назад +1

      +Brandon Tipton That battery won't (shouldn't) burn the coils although it's a little under powered for these coils which work better with a VV battery operating at 4,8 volts.
      I've gone a stage further & run mine on the excellent Innokin MVP 3.0 mod. I use that for sub ohm vaping with the Innokin iSub Apex tank too.
      Anyway, back to your problem. What's the PG/VG ratio of your juice?
      Also, are you checking your coils are genuine by entering the code on the box of coils on the Aspire website?

    • @infowazz
      @infowazz 8 лет назад

      the problem i see is this stuff gets very technical. like 1100mah, 2200 mah, 4 volts, sub ohm, etc. but it is what it is of course.

  • @ede2225
    @ede2225 9 лет назад +1

    I thought I had "vape tongue" until i switched out my regular Nautilus coil for the BVC coil. WOW!!!!!!!! Compared to the BVC coil, the regular Nautius coil SUCKS! From the BVC coil, big plumes, lots of flavor, and it vapes my max VG like nothing. I chain vape max VG and it's awesome!!!! Before you give up on the Nautilus, replace the coil with the 1.6 ohm BVC coil and you'll have a brand new experience! I vape it at 12 watts (1.6ohm) and have never had such a good vape. The bigger juice holes make all the difference.

    From your intro it reminds me of the saying, "The perfect is the enemy of the good". People or things that strive to be perfect usually fall so far short that they don't even end up being good.
    Another thing which struck me as pretty weird is that you would consider converting to a 26650 battery. Personally I use the Panasonic 3400 18650 battery and it lasts me a long time, perhaps even longer than your 26650 battery because I cannot find any credible source for the claimed mAh capacities of the 26650 batteries I have seen.
    I know you are going to say, "The Panasonic 3400 mAh batteries SUCK for vaping" (pardon the pun). Well in your mod, going up to 20 Watts with a 1.8 Ohm coil, even when the battery is down to 3.7 volts it still has an Amp limit headroom of 12%. So the whole, "You need a high drain battery to use a mod" thing is bollocks.
