The car is great. I had it for testing for one and a half day and i KINDA liked it. The thing is that if you would compare this Audi to an 5 year old BMW at the suspensions, horse power, the BMW would win. If you have problems like while driving and you look at your phone you feel sick, well, it's your unlucky day. The car has a lot of great features like video calls if you're in the back seat, TV mode, again, if you're in the back seat, and those cool LED lights with over 300 programable colours. The car seats have massage mode, and believe me, it feels so good. While i was driving and activated the massage mode it made me feel sleepy. Another thing is that the steering wheel is very thin. It doesn't support Apple's CarPlay. ( or it didn't work for me ). All the screens have LCD displayes, but the touchscreen controller has an OLED screen. The auto pilot is separately bought and if you live in countries where the auto pilot is illegal or isn't supported than say good bye. One more thing, the driver seet screen supports force touch
Not sure what protection rolling up the windows that slow would provide in a collusion. They actually might be broken. Causing more possible injury from being cut.

I like nice cars, but most vehicles made today are flimsy junk with flashy features. I _really_ like the A8 (A8 L, ideally) but it's no exception. Great features, terrible cost of ownership. But it's not for everyone. Electric cars are not for everyone. Even a Tesla is not for everyone. I prefer a classic fuel powered Audi over a Prius any day. Not really, lvl 3 is already in tesla S, X and soon 3, plus Nissan leaf will be too lvl 3 with lvl 4 capabilities and more will come out in 2018 with lvl 3. What whould be amazing is to see lvl 4 autonomy but we are not there yet they need 3-5 years for real lvl 4. As for real lvl 5 the fully autonomous cars we need to wait at least 10 years.

Old news, i agree, it's just that audi tries to catch up with tesla, nissan leaf and other hi-tech companies. Of course they will catch up some time in the near future, but for now they just follow. I like the fact that they call it the first lvl 3...lol...really now? I know they can do better, i just wait for e-tron EV to come, because this will have lvl 4 capabilities...

Tesla has only the technical that Audi vor 3 years had. Tesla killed his customer with his high Tech and let his customer testing his system for him. Please tell me which high Tech has Tesla? One Screen in the car. that's all. Problems with quality. Problems with reliability. Check the Ranking from Consumer report in the USA how reliable is Audi and how reliable ist Tesla. Faster not equal better. Its a car not a mobile phone.

It's good for you that you drive a Prius or something. But it's not for everyone. Electric cars are not for everyone. Even a Tesla is not for everyone. I prefer a classic fuel powered Audi over a Prius any day. That's my opinion and I don't care what anybody thinks. Drive what you like, simple as that.

Not really, lvl 3 is already in tesla S, X and soon 3, plus Nissan leaf will be too lvl 3 with lvl 4 capabilities and more will come out in 2018 with lvl 3. What whould be amazing is to see lvl 4 autonomy but we are not there yet they need 3-5 years for real lvl 4. As for real lvl 5 the fully autonomous cars we need to wait at least 10 years.

All those things are rubbish. Wat does word car means - personal transportation vehicle and it shoul be available to masses. Those systems are basic german over enginerin they cost more than they save. Complete nonsense. All those gadgets are unusefull. Statistic shows that safety actualy descreases with advanced systems. The driver and his hers skills is what it counts. Untill there will be massive self driving cars driver is one who operates car. For me it is easier and faster to park myself and all those gadgets that warns you or help you steer the car are no usefull.

The driver of the Audi then passes out (or falls asleep, or whatever you can come up with), you would be glad that the car (Audi in this case) would be able to keep itself in its lane and possibly protect your life (as the driver of a vehicle that is passing the Audi). These 'gadgets' are very useful, and could save thousands of lives.
