I m man, there may be many solutions out there, but I want to emphasize one thing: men should interact more with women in their lives. The less you interact with women, the harder it is to learn to respect them and see them as just human beings like us. I've noticed that men who have Gfs or female friends, sisters tend to be more respectful toward women in general. On the other hand, those who interact less with women often struggle to see them as anything other than sexual objects. It’s hard to understand for them that women are not a object-they’re just normal humans, like the rest of the 8 billion people on this planet.

We also need to realise that if we condone one act of assault against women, we condone all acts of violence against women. 1:47 the stress and fear that Faye mentions is something which is inherent in all Indian women. This is just so disgusting. One of the constant nightmares I Have is, being attacked by someone. I m man, there may be many solutions out there, but I want to emphasize one thing: men should interact more with women in their lives. The less you interact with women, the harder it is to learn to respect them and see them as just human beings like us. I've noticed that men who have Gfs or female friends, sisters tend to be more respectful toward women in general. On the other hand, those who interact less with women often struggle to see them as anything other than sexual objects. It’s hard to understand for them that women are not a object-they’re just normal humans, like the rest of the 8 billion people on this planet.

What we are asking for : reset the moral compass of our society
1:47 the stress and fear that Faye mentions is something which is inherent in all Indian women. This is just so disgusting. One of the constant nightmares I Have is, being attacked by someone. Once I shared this with my husband who is not Indian said this is not ok. Honestly that’s why it struck me that all women don’t have this. We deserve to be safe.
Implementing law and order is a bigger deterrent than punishment, however severe it may be.
Safety of anyone whether women or men, it can't be achieved with social inequality and injustice. today in India inequality and injustice rampant across the country and 90% of the affected people are socially backward people.

Well explained Dr Fay Dsouza. You should represent, educate and be an advisor in the Indian parliament. It us a shame in our Indian culture where there's supposed to be respect for women. Kolkata was the safest city in India especially for women. Mama Banerjee let us down as a woman she could have been a hood role model for women and female children.
