Can anyone tell me if this is a cover and if so, by whom originally? I got this in the late 90s as a part of a Sub Pop Singles Club release knowing NOTHING about Cheap Trick other than the radio hits of their early career. Which are fine, but they're hardly "Brontosaurus" (The Move cover), or this song. In-fucking-credible, both songs. I live "Brontosaurus" by The Move, but I like the CT version even better!
*Sure wish they'd release this 45 along with the self titled 1997?cd ( Which unfortunately most people don't know about)on vinyl, one hell of a great comeback by one of the hardest working bands and a well deserved spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!*
Oh man, it would be wonderful if they included this and the T-Rex cover Sub Pop 45 on the album and issued it all together on vinyl - on black and white vinyl would be great - black and white to signify how back to basics the album and 45 are. Maybe make it a Record Store Day release
If you're in the right mood, receptive 'n all - this is the greatest rock song of all time.
I LOVE this song! One of the best Cheap Trick Songs imo.
Play it loud! Very loud!
Albini brings out the real CT.

You would think they would have done this song live plenty of times.
