Expanding my Workshop - Step 1 - What's the plan?

- Hey everyone!
It's about time i make some upgrades to my little workshop!
I'm simply running out of room. and the whole building could use a makeover.
This will be step one in the process, of hopefully making my workshop more roomy, comftable and efficient!
And i'm also bringing up the question, of maybe thanging the name of this channel?
Because it really has become somthing very different, from what it set out to be. so perhaps it's time to adapt the name, for that?

I think the fact you're not doing the typical youtuber thing by just ripping down a building and putting up another one to show how successful you are is appealing. The renovating an old building using the resources you have rather than just writing cheques is likely what most viewers can relate to, so yes, it would be interesting to watch the progress.

You should totally film your building upgrade, if someone does not want to watch it, that's their choice. I would definitely watch it. It's good to see your vehicles being us3d for practical things. Keep up the great work.

Yeah JPs Army Trucks is a perfectly adequate channel name.
Just keep doing what you’re doing and keep Unimog centric.
Great job on the renovation, would like to watch more of it, when possible. As for the name, I think that it's appropriate as it is now, because we (your watchers) are you Team and Army, so you could leave it as is 🙂

Nice video, that tractor is really very versatile. About the channel name, I personally think Team Army Trucks has a really cool sound to it, even if there is no team visible on the videos and it's mostly just you. Maybe the viewers could also be kind of considered part of the team, as they enjoy the trucks aswell. I don't know, just what came to my mind, I think the name has a good sound to it and might attract viewers too
Really enjoy your content and style of presentation, especially about the trucks. Personally, the fact that you're in Denmark and you show some of your life there is really interesting as well. Perhaps consider adding that to your new channel name: ArmyTrucks Denmark or something like that (but maybe not Danish ArmyTrucks, which might sound like the channel is about the Danish Army).

To be honest, you could switch to gardening and I would still watch your videos 🤣 It wouldn't hurt to change the name, after all is mostly you doing work, every now and then a buddy gives you a hand. I always wandered why it's called "team army trucks" and your explanation makes perfect sense. Keep up the good work 🦾
yes i would like to see more of the build of the building. i know it will be easier for you to park work. maybe add a rail crane in the garage for engine and cab lifts which means less tools on floor ( engine hoist cherry picker) anyways lord bless you & keep u & may he cause his to shine on u !

If you watch E bay you can get used commercial fridge wall panels they are structural and easy to work with also interlocking they require some adaption of how you construct building the are super warm I used them I my building which is half brickwork half panel but I whish I had used all panels on a small wall I have a small clip of building it on you tube

Absolutely I want to see the workshop building project. If the Unimog project takes much time you can always hibernate it till the new workshop is ready and with heating.
You only got few months on the building projects before winter is back.
You should definitely give it time to decide on the new channel name. You wouldn't be able to do it again later if your channel grows. Too risky to change name when you pass 50K subscribers.

Do it ! I like watching building jobs. Don't care much what name a channel has? I have to say that you host my favourite channel of all. If just by a margin you are my friend in my opinion and I think your military trucks interest plus the broader image of your excavator and other work makes this much like home was when I was a junior...I'm glad you're having some success with YT because the videos are good to see.

Team army trucks is nerdy AF. I like it! However you probably should change it . . . to appeal to a wider audience.

Ok now. First of all - great vid, as usual, thank you. Second of all: idunno about the rest of the crowd here, but me personally - i was expecting and anticipating some form of building and\or renovations content. With your skills and video stile - i think it's gonna be good. It also brings some variety to the channel, which is good for new audience. So, short answer - bring it on.
As for the name change - one thing worth noting is the fact that some viewers may get confused and unsub. That's just how things are on YT, however - this is your channel, and we are here exactly because we like your stuff and your way of doing things with it. As to the actual name suggestions - idunno, there's a lot of options. "KJ_Trucks", "J's Workshop", "Trucks&Mud in Denmark" ok, last one was a joke ofc. Me personally - i always thought that the shtick of the name is that we, the viewers who like this type of content are the the team, with you as the leader, you know.
P.S. - Why is there a stop sign in RU and EN languages on the left side corner of the building closer to the roof?

Leave the name as it is please. It very much identifies you and is far more specific than other channels.
i like your channel name..it is what drew me to it..but if you feel it is over looked due to the name then i understand..btw..you are under rated..and surely deserve many more subs/views..but the content is superb..editing..sound..vehicles is very impressive..
my partner say's you young man have a lot to answer for as I have just bought a 3d printer and will be printing a round nose UNIMOG cab to put on a R/C crawler truck, personally we are kindred spirits and yes I do like watching and re- watching all your content

👍👌👏 Well done! 2) In your own interest, please choose a name that will bring you recommendations (because you definitely deserve and can use more views)! For instance Unimog, AWD, Army truck Restorations (= UAAR). The new name should attract as much people as possible. Therefore Unimog is important to have because these vehicles are used and known worldwide. The all wheel drive fans are important too, in restorations a lot of people have interest. 3) That's quite a big workshop modification you want to do. If not having enough budget, you can always sell a vehicle. Especially Unimogs are still highly sought after (at least in Germany). And, please be honest 😁, nobody needs as much vehicles than you already own. You can only drive one at a time. 4) I will watch whatever you post.

Post Scriptum: I really hope, that you didn't really throw the gifted chainsaw in the trash only because of a defective plastic gasoline tank and a not well adjusted carburetor.

But what do you mean i don't need so many vehicles? i'm not sure i have enough?? Hahah :)
And yeah, the chainsaw is gone. it was a very cheap thing, with a very poor design. the fuel-tank that broke, was all molded in to one piece, that was also that handle and controls and so on, so effectively, half of the entire saw, was built into the broken tank. Is was just not worth the effort to fix it :)

2) When you get older, you will definitely see and experience what I mean. Almost anything you have (too) much of becomes a burden. Additionally a lot of items need to be maintained. All this uses time plus physical and psychological energy.
3) Okay, I see. Some items are simply not worth keeping/repairing. Better a horrible end than endless horror with that cheap chainsaw.

Dude, your channel is awesome. Whether you change the name or not (I always wondered what the « team » part was about, as you’re always alone in the videos), I’ll keep following it. In a way, you’re into army trucks and your subscribers are your team - ha! I personally really like the varied content, so do what you feel is best, but please, keep rambling!

First of all I'll call click-bait! This was not just planning, but also a bit of action!
...and since this is turning into a landscaping/gardening channel, you should stay away from mentioning any type of vehicle in the name of the channel.
Seriously: Even if a deviation of the content is not good for the sacred Google Algorithm, if you even care a millisecond about that, I'm very happy with the variety of your content. Other guys, like Taylor Ray, does the same. One episode is tool building, then the next a car project, then a bus project and then he's mowing his lawn. And everyone watching are happy about it. So I for one, would like to see the progress of your garage/workshop building.

Sure thing.. i will keep calling you Olaf 🤣 anyways i agree with you on your channel name i dont hink it makes much sense just like my channel name i made it when i was 14 thats why it sounds ridiculous 😂 i wish i could give you any ideas for the name but im not very creative on that aspect, now serious bussiness, it was my understanding that you want to create 3 doors for the garage, i think thats too many doors and it will steal you lots of working room to put working benches, i think 2 would be ideal the main door that you already have it and one on the back of that later addition building this way you could drive your cars trough the entire garage like a drive in garage, also think about using those steal beams in a way that you can fit a small winch to help you out raising and lowring those unimogs cabins and transmissions since you are renovating and spending money think about that since one of your main issues was to lift everthing by yourself since you always work alone. Instead of trees and plants you can always use dirt mounds and use it as a natural wall to block noise wind and give you some privacy plus its free and you have an excuse to use the digger 😂

very cool. apart from your comment that you don't live in a free country. get serious, that is exactly where you live. building regulations exist for a reason.
