We have spent the last two summers in Burnsville. I really enjoyed your video! For a couple new things on your next visit, try the Mayland Earth to Sky Park and Carriage House Sundries. We learned of a couple new places to visit from your video as well. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks so much for watching and glad to hear you enjoyed our video! We really enjoyed our visit, and hope to go back again soon. We actully visited both - Carriage House Sundries wasn't open yet, but we got a preview from the owners. We also visited the Earth to Sky Park, but due to the weather we could only visit the Planitarium. We tried to take some video, but with it being so dark, it didn't turn out. We did feature it in our written guide linked in the description. Thanks again!

With my family being from Yancey County I watch every video about It that I can. This is my favorite thus far. Having worked on Mt Mitchell for 3 summers while in college that part is great. You picked the Balsam Nature trail which is my favorite on the Mountain and is negotiable for most. I would advise going back for the Craftman's Fair in August. I love that little town, it's Just Home to me.

I'm taking my first trip to Burnsville in January. I'm hoping to see some snow, but not too much 😊.

@@LVSpeedweLL Very good! I live in the mountains of Va and I love it- but the locals are about to do me in. Dead end dirt road up 3000 feet and traffic last night at midnight. I need to buy about 10 acres where I prep it myself. I just want to get away from people who have forgotten how to mind their own business.

@@SiberiaDreamsI also lived at end of road; my neighbors were excellent folks. We looked out for each other, whilst not getting in each other’s business. NC has different areas, like VA. Hope you will find “like minded folks” who are aware of what is going on and are also preparing. The next few years are gonna be an interesting time. Prayers!

That's a tough one, but we really like Waynesville NC where we live. Now with that said, there are many towns we haven't had a chance to visit yet. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching. We appreciate it! - Larry and Jenn

we checked out Waynesville last year. I thought we would like it more than we did unfortunately. We hung out in the downtown area and there was a pretty great pizza shop though. A little warm in the Summer from what I recall@@Blueridgemountainlife

@@ArizonaMMJAll very dependent on what you like and what you're looking for. If you're looking for cooler, you'll want to look towards Boone/Blowing Rock area, as the elevation is a bit higher. Good luck in your search, finding the best place for you is tons of fun.
