- A full day planned of fishing ruined by rain. Instead of coming back in and calling quits, we took advantage of the plentiful bait that was right outside of the inlet. I was throwing a previous gen Fitec Ultra Spreader cast net. Great net, opens up fully and sinks quick. Caught all the bait I can need.

Ive always wondered how and what people see when they jusy pull up and cast like that. I usually have to chum and wait for bait to show up.
That's an amazing spread on your net. I would love to see you post a video of how you prep, hold and throw it. Also. we catch greenbacks (aka LYs) and pinfish here on the north Gulf coast. I've never seen a ballyhoo, except in boxes of frozen bait. Where do you find them?
Thank You. We find them here on the southeast coast of Florida. From palm beach all the way down to the keys.
Looking for some tips on deep water cast netting say 40-60ft of water. For cigar minnows and such. Do you let the net sink till your out of lone or do you close the net fast? Thanks
Hey buddy, what song is this?
