Was shocked to see Dr. Acula actually put out a new album and was even more shocked by how good it actually is. A lot of grind and hardcore all over it. Still has their corny synth on it too from the old days. solid album

The last two tracks on that new Worm EP ("Shadowside Kingdom" and its preceding intro "Invoking The Dragonmoon"--awesome title🐉) are amazing tributes to early-to-mid-90's symphonic black metal, which makes sense because Worm began life as a black metal band. The rest of the EP is good, even if death-doom isn't really my jam most of the time.

Well, October was fun, so lets get into the albums and EPs i listened to
    1. Rot Among Us - Acid Witch: It was fine, nothing special really, 3/5
    2. As The Blood of God Bursts The Veins of Time (EP) - Liturgy: Again, it was just fine, nothing much else, 3/5
    3. Illusions - Borealis: Damn this one is a really good album, 4/5
    4. Omens - Lamb of God: BOOOOOOORING, 1/5
    5. Digital Noise Alliance - Queensryche: It was okay, 3/5
    6. Pawns & Kings - Alter Bridge: Pretty amazing if you ask me, also, the title for the album is lowkey funny considering there is a controversy going on in the Chess World where a high profile Chess player is accused of using Anal beads to cheat a match...don't know why im bringing it up but yeah, its a strong 6.9/5
    7. Acoustic in Hell (EP) - Eleine: It was good, 3.5/5
    8. Pain Remains - Lorna Shore: Ohh boy, this album, has grown on me (now take a shot for me saying that) is it AOTY material? yes it is, and a really strong one too, the Pain Remains Trilogy songs alone is worth your time and honestly speaking, those crazy vocals are genuinely haunting in a good way, Ramos is really doing the band a favor by sticking with them long term, and kickstarting Lorna Shore to a wider and much larger fame and audience 5/5
    9. The Gang's all Here - Skid Row: You're not missing out for not bothering with this album, its a strong 1/5
    10. Complete Collapse - Sleeping with Sirens: And now Sleeping with Sirens joins the artists who made a song about
"Nice guys finish last" the first one being Will Smith, also the album blows, 0.5/5
    11. Darkbloom - We Came As Romans: BLEH, Thats all i have to say, 1.5/5
And now the gigantic elephant in the room
    12. The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit - Architects: this is one of the worst albums i have ever heard in my
entire life...im not exaggerating, this is straight up top 10 worst albums of 2022, not even the relatively "Fine" single A New Moral Low Ground could save this album, its just sad and pathetic, going back and listening to their older albums and this is like night and day, its depressing how far this band has fallen, also, GIVE US MORE SYLOSIS!!! 0/5
    13. The Mourning (EP) - Black Veil Brides: this one im kind of disappointed with, im a BVB Fan and this just feels weak, especially when you learn the fact these songs are leftover materials from their previous album The Phantom Tomorrow, which was one of my favorite albums of 2021, but the kicker here is Andy saying in an interview that there is 6 to 8 songs left from the album, and there is only 4 of them on the EP, so...Where's the rest of the 4 Songs? why mention them if you aren't gonna release them in a full package? anyways, its a 2.5/5
    14. Astral Fortress - Darkthrone: This is Definitely a Darkthrone album, 0.5/5
    15. II - Dead Cross: is neat, 3.5/5
    16. Déterré (EP) - Despised Icon: it was okay, 3/5
And thats pretty much it, also, Not sure if you answered it in the live stream but i kinda wanna ask, would you consider reviewing Depresszió's New Album "Vissza a Földre" coming out this friday? they are a Hungarian Metal band and i would be interested what you think about it personally, since im from the same country as them.

I really enjoyed the new Goatwhore (Much like most of their Discog)
Foreverglade is still one of the best albums released for last year. Arguably love it even more now. The New Worm EP is so good, I think these Death Doom fries are really fucking delicious and Slimy and I can’t wait for the big beefy nasty Burger of album(s) to come.
Welp I love Sodom, they are one of my thrash favorites still. This is definitely a cool gateway for any fans new to Thrash or Sodom.
Liturgy is not my thing at all and that’s fine if any of you all enjoyed it, that’s cool.
Defleshed seems a little interesting. Sweden is one of the Kings of Death Metal.
Daeva is pretty fucking sick from what I’ve heard.
Stormruler is a very good epic album from what I’ve heard.

Definitely need to listen to the Worm and Liturgy EPs, I've been slacking a bit on new releases. My favorites of the month were Lorna Shore, Exhumed, and Daeva (weird mix, I know).
Also, I can't recall if it came out in October or September, but Esoctrilihum, probably the hardest working project ever, released ANOTHER new album called Saopth's or something like that, and I'm both reminding myself and the comment section that it exists.
