I invited my mom and she couldn't go with me. I invited my dad & same couldn't or didn't want to.. Then I invited my sister, she had things going on. So I bought myself a really good front seat, drove 2 hours by myself to Boise and saw Shen Yun. It was so beautiful and amazing. can't wait to see them again. God bless all members of Shen Yun.

Our family goes every year. We bring friends and neighbors with us. My one neighbor has wanted to see it, but for 4 years straight she is invariably out of town and unable to go. It’s almost like a test for her at this point. Wonderful what’s going on…

Just watched Shen Yun last week. It is MUCH MORE than the short clips you see in the ads. There are dance, stories, music, humor, and DRAMA. Highly recommend. Overall, a very well-made production that makes you feel warm inside.
My daughter visited Mom in Tucson last month and was fortunate enough to see Shen Yun. She was awed and moved to tears. She has encouraged my husband and I to attend when they return to our area. This cemented my determination to see these incredible people and their amazing show.
The production is larger than life and deeply moving. It is both entertaining and culturally informative. BTW, it is worth every penny spent. I would recommend Shen Yun to everyone. Peace through strength, knowledge, love, and faith.

If you think of their mission, it is so moving and profound, bringing back culture and by doing so breaking with the CCP lies and propaganda. A peaceful resistance through the beauty of art. All the young dancers have such a graceful air about them.

I'm having a rough few years here in N. California. Been seeing the ads and felt if I didn't go I would really regret it. So last night I bought tickets for January in Folsom, CA. My niece is going with me. Now I have something wonderful to look forward to. It makes such a difference. I've always felt a deep connection with China. Followed their history. I'm so excited and want to wish everyone happy holidays and may you do something to bring joy to yourself and others!
Why would the Chinese government object? Surely these magnificent demonstration of ancient Chinese dance and cultural only ehance China's international reputation? I never knew until this video that the Dance Company wasn't funded by CCP as it seemed to me to represent China in a very positive way.
From my understanding, the CCP isn’t interested in promoting authentic Chinese culture, which has 5000 years of spirituality and virtues about how to live in harmony with nature and the heavens. Communism is forcefully atheist and is basically antithetical to those traditional Chinese beliefs. I’ve seen Shen Yun several times, and from what I can see, the traditional perspective rooted in beauty and universal virtues that Shen Yun portrays is the opposite of the authoritarian regime the CCP wants and has created. The CCP has done a ton of things to remove traditional culture - Eg Cultural Revolution, persecution of Falun Gong, etc, so the CCP attacking Shen Yun is just a continuation of their campaign against authentic Chinese culture and traditions. Hope that helps.
*Communist Censorship Propaganda* targets _anything_ that “challenges” their authority. They _must_ control the narrative because they are highly insecure. When “foreigners” inconveniently point out that their own people historically looked inwards (and upwards) for guidance they are terrified it will lead to people questioning the authoritative narrative - which is authority without accountability. They have become a false god demanding exclusive worship thus _anything_ that reminds people - that the government gets its power from the governed - is a threat to their fragile egos and is targeted. China will eventually collapse due to internal corruption.
I must say, I couldn't help but admire the Beauty of their Art and Talent, and their Discipline, but I feign disapproval because I truly thought they were "sent" by the CCP to 'Show America how it's done'! My feelings were wrong, my feelings were unfair and for that I am so sorry.
I've watched them a few times before and still look forward to their new show every year on their world tour. Much love from Taiwan to Shen Yun. I love the message they convey, the energy they carry, and the bright vibe and hope they share with us. I saw Shen Yun for my first time in 2018. AMAZING, no words can describe! I do support all you guys so keep going and thank a lots! I think that Shen Yun is so great, it brings back the real traditional Chinese cultures with values of Faith, Virtue, Compassion... which CCP tried to destroy during the Cultural Revolution and spreaded lies, conflict, division and violence,... so it looks like Shen Yun makes CCP so scared and has to use huge money to do a lot of bad things trying to reduce its prestige and reputation or harm the companies and dancers... The fact that CCP harms people globally by its lies...
They are performing in a bunch of cities - if you can't make it when they're performing in your city, perhaps you can explore another city in your region?

Only the wealthy and royals or GOVERMENT bureaucracy ever had that level of beauty and culture. The 99.9% of that society lived in poverty, fear, and the scratching drive to succeed needed in the merchant class.

王志安和虞超先后都发布了对同一位前神韵女性舞者的采访。听这位舞者说话的口音、表达方式，她应该是来自台湾，目前和丈夫生活在台湾。台湾舞者从十来岁起就在神韵歌舞团接受训练，参加表演，第一线目击了神韵艺术团和法轮功内部的运作，与李洪志大师和太太距离都非常近，比虞超都要近很多。我觉得舞者的访谈和故事很有价值，对她遭受的创伤经历深表同情，只是我感觉这是个需要核实、比较、对照、延伸的个案，需要更多的实例和证据的积累才能归纳出一些结论，这个时候没法窥一斑而知全豹，大家要意识到的是通过一块砖头很难看到整个建筑的状况。
王志安、虞超、台湾舞者三位的勇气和求真精神可贵，因为批评神韵不是一件很容易的事情。我给大家讲个故事。今年3月大纪元时报发表了长篇文章，针对的是纽约时报组织的一篇针对神韵的调查性报道，这篇报道还没发表但大纪元知道了消息，然后用自己的这篇文章为神韵辩护，强烈批评了纽约时报。纽约时报这篇报道我到现在也没看到过，他们应该是没有发表。按照大纪元的说法，他们获得了纽约时报的内部材料。时报的两位调查性报道记者找到神韵的一些前舞者采访，大纪元说是已经离开神韵很多年、心怀不满的那些，但这两位记者忽略了绝大多数在神韵的经历比较正面、回报丰厚的成员。接受纽约时报采访的这些成员中，有一些可以多次自由地在中国旅行，这应该被视作警告信号，因为任何公开的法轮功成员回到中国都会非常危险，但这些接受采访的人却可以。大纪元指责说，纽约时报只是聚焦于有问题的极少数人来组织报道，显然是针对神韵的抹黑报道。纽约时报的采访对象中还包括为中共服务、长期与法轮功作对、被联邦调查局约谈过甚至遭到拘禁的人。
法轮功的理念在美国社会处于非常保守的光谱中，抽烟喝酒不行、婚外情不行、同性婚姻也都被严格禁止，他们反对进化论，而且相信天国里不同种族的人是分开的，这跟美国南方种族隔离时期倡导的口号，separate but equal分离但是平等听起来有点像，这个口号已经被美国社会摈弃。大纪元开始坚定支持特朗普、在美国政治当中选择极右道路以后，美国自由派媒体开始逐渐关注，聚光灯逐渐移向了大纪元，纽约时报、全国广播公司NBC这些媒体都有针对大纪元的调查性报道。我们看看纽约时报这篇关于神韵的报道能不能最终发表，值得期待。也许这次大纪元财务官关卫东案子能够促成一些更扎实的报道出台，尤其是经济运作上的。
接下来我来说说对神韵的看法，主要是从文艺批评的角度。神韵应该说是法轮功人士在美国制造出的一种现象级别的产品，影响力比较大，在华盛顿的地铁站、超市、餐厅，几乎凡是允许张贴广告的地方，都能看到神韵的广告，一般年底开始明显增多，冬季是他们演出季节开始的时候。春天的花粉，冬天的神韵，两者在美国各地都无法避免。在美国没看过神韵表演的华人应该很多，但是没看过神韵广告的华人我觉得应该没有，每个人都看到过。

I've lived with french classic dancers, practiced martial arts with high-level people. What's new here ?
