- This year's Spring Festival Gala, an annual celebration produced and broadcast by China Media Group (CMG), unfolded on the eve of the Chinese New Year on Friday evening. As China's most-watched TV program, the gala has been an annual tradition since its first broadcast in 1983. This year, the gala showcased a mix of performances, from music, comedy and traditional arts like opera and martial arts to spectacular acts such as magic and acrobatics. It also incorporated cutting-edge technologies like extended reality (XR) and immersive stage interaction technologies to enhance the viewing experience.

OMG! The acrobat and the lucky fish dance combining with technology are brilliant. They have put in lots of painful practices to have this perfect execution and beautiful show. Thank you very much for the brilliant shows. The Hanfu dresses are so beautiful and elegant. The drum in the opening show is so awesome powerful energy and the cute kid costumes with dragon head…. Those baby ducks are so cute trying to be swans. All kids and theirs costumes in this Spring Festival Gala are so adorable 🥰 This year’s Spring Festival Gala is 💯 so beautiful brilliant magnificent. I was absolutely mesmerized by the lucky fish performance. I am in awe of the talent in this performance. The whole festival was just next level, amazing absolute perfection, and I feel so blessed that I got to view this my daughter took me to see Shen Yue yesterday and it sent me on a path, which I am very happy to be on happy new year year of the dragon❤
