Bro, I've finally grasped how to create the threshold effect in Photoshop. Thanks for the tutorial; I've tried guides from other creators, but none could help me understand as clearly as this.
If you want to make the drop shadow solid, add a white background layer under the graphic layer. Threshold maintains a layer's shape so if its blurred its going to remain that way.
Could you tell me how you created the coloured versions? I really like them but i'm confused as to how to take it from black and white to colour. Great vid bro.

Cutting out the threshold effect does not work for me. I make the selection exactly as you showed in the video. But when I fill the area, I get it looks like the original image without the threshold effect applied. Is this due to the configuration of the adjustment layer or what am I doing wrong?
Make a selection , add in a new layer , get the fill tool or bucket fill tool , ensure you have black selected and fill in the selection . Seems like you forgot to add in the new layer and use the fill tool

I haven’t tried yet , but I’m sure there is , because you can get to the image trace part . But getting the texture detail might be the issue regarding noise

It Could possibly be from adding a gradient map.
You can use the brush tool and color it in. Using blend modes to achieve different looks.

yeah that won't work, Youll need to cut out the image as displayed and work with that layer.
