tori spring, the sister, is the main character of alice’s first novel solitaire, and in the comics, tori always enters with the words *appears* and *sip* and it’s actually iconic. in solitaire she’s always drinking diet lemonade too lol
Something that's not completely obvious is that there is quite a lot of time skips in the show. Hence, why sometimes they just slip in a line like "you've been pining over him for months". So it's probably true that Charlie isn't hanging out with Tao nearly as much as he used to, we just aren't seeing the timescale properly.

Charlie hasn't told anyone about their relationship. Issac guessed, Nick told Tara and Darcy and it was also Nick that said they were on a triple date. Elle worked it out from there.

Nick wants it to be a secret, so Charlie never told anyone, that’s what great about this show.
On other shows, they will make characters like Charlie “accidentally” told someone, and leads to a serious drama.
Charlie and Nick’s relationship is so healthy and wholesome, that’s what we all need on an LGBTQ+ show.
In the comic book this is based on, Tao let it slipped that Charlie was gay and that's how everyone found out. Charlie is a bit shy about telling Tao about him and Nick for fear Tao would let that slip as well.
so between episodes sometimes actually months pass by so Tao's reaction is kinda valid but as an audience we dont realize that, bc we can binge it.
Charlie hasn't told anyone. Nick's the one telling Tara, telling Elle. Isaac just knew from the start. Tao's behaviour at the end of this episode is dreadful, especially as he knows better than anyone how sensitive Charlie is, how deeply he will feel that "all your fault" comment. It made me really angry.

Some of nicks friends at the cinema looked really uncomfortable at what Harry was saying, as well as that they welcomed charlie into the rugby team (in the episode 1 montage) they might be two of nicks friends from the graphic novels, hopefully we will see them in series two!

I hope so! I don't like the idea of Nick ditching ALL of his friends for Charlie. It's more natural that he has some good friends too
