  • In the Abourso Community of Fanteakwa District, community members once shared the same water source with animals. The stream, known as "Amanfo Nsu" (meaning "Water for the People"), posed challenges.
In 2022, World Vision Ghana, with funding from World Vision Korea and support from collaborating partners, constructed 46 water systems and 15 latrines in Fanteakwa north and south districts. Nurses now work happily, and children attend school promptly. To ensure sustainability, World Vision Ghana trained mechanics and established a Water and Sanitation Management Team. Their commitment ensures that the legacy of clean water continues even after World Vision's direct involvement.
