If I remember correctly, Sue lost her entire family, also got harassed when she was in Boston (which I think people may have forgotten), and then this season she lost her baby... Idk, like I just wish they could have justified Sue's storyline more. I know what she did was wrong but 10:19 when she talked about the poems, you really feel the pain...

I think what I mean is within the story I wish they can explain a little bit more; because we saw an innocent, kind girl suddenly transformed into someone completely different and nobody bothered to ask what happened to her or even concerned about her new behavior. It was not until ep 9 when we finally saw Sue talked about her experience, Austin found out about the baby. And then in ep 10, that whole thing was like never happened. People said the loss of her baby is not reasonable enough but again forgot all the other things she went through.
The story tho-- They went through alot and they got the ending what they deserve and not just other shows... Im happy for them and still waiting for the next season ^^

I'm reminded of the movie "Amadeus" when Stanzi, Mozart's wife attempts to sleep with Salieri in order to secure her husband a royal post, but he spurns her. In "Dickinson", it's the complete opposite, as Sue sleeps with Sam so that he will publish Emily's poems. We must remember that Sue was at a low point in her life with the loss of the baby, having a fake marriage, in which she had to pretend to love her husband, when it fact, she didn't. She was also sexually abused by her employer in Boston, during her time as a governess. Which is why Emi-Sue's reunion as a couple at the end of season two is such a relief. Both girls kept their feelings buried deep down for a a whole year. So, it's little surprise that their love scenes would be both so intimate & epic. The few love scenes we got in season 1, were also epic, such as the iconic moment with them kissing under the apple orchard tree or the scene with them sleeping together in bed. They are handled so well. Also, notice how Emi-Sue's love scenes are full of heat, passion, intense emotion & raw power, compared to the love scenes that Sue had with "ahem" Sam & Austin, which felt forced, fake & were just downright difficult to watch. Anyway, looking forward to more Emi-Sue in Season 3 & hopefully beyond.
