    So what about the rumors that (1) you can't run them for more than a few minutes at a time and (2) the wheel has to be off the ground when inflating, both to prevent premature burn out of the pump ?

    • @SumukhComedy
      @SumukhComedy  3 года назад +3

      I don't know how long you anticipate running it for. I've run it for 15 minutes to inflate a very low tire on a truck bed and that worked fine. I've had this for over a year now and filled air on multiple cars without the wheel being off the ground and it's still working well. So I think for the average consumer/driver who anticipates using it on occasion or in a bind, it works well. Thanks for watching!

      Turning on the engine just makes sure using the air compressor isn’t draining the car’s battery. But draining the battery shouldn’t be too much of a concern in most cases.

    Hi, I always wondered does it load 12V battery that it can damage it? I have a Prius 2 2017. I was using one of these. My 12V battery died coincidentally at that time. Not that I am saying it's related, but just wondering if there's a chance?

    • @SumukhComedy
      @SumukhComedy  3 года назад

      I am not an expert, but I highly doubt that it would have been the sole reason for your battery dying. As you know, many things can be hooked up to the 12V connection and operate for a long period of time without any effect on the battery. It's likely your battery was weak to begin with and it was coincidental. However, whomever replaced your battery for you could have confirmed that for you as well. Hope your new battery is serving you well and thanks for watching, Venkat!

    • @SumukhComedy
      @SumukhComedy  3 года назад +2

      Depends on the weight the tire needs to be at but ballparking at anywhere from 5-15 minutes. I don't know the situation on your tire but it will also allow you to realize if the tire has a puncture that's not allowing it to get any air in it, too. All the best and thanks for watching!

      Hi Daniel, these are videos intended to help others out while providing humor. When I was a "kid" as you say, air was free at every gas station. I'm not discounting the efforts of those in providing such services. However, please don't speak to me like I'm ungrateful towards some sort of bygone era you cherish which I, in fact, lived during. Thanks for watching!
