Very disappointed by the new Wing Chun Kung Fu school in my region, I could have gone back to the one I was previously in contact with. But the problem is that it is more than 100 kilometres from my home! I decided to leave it because there is no philosophical dimension, a lot of arrogance, no humility, no sparring! In short, Yp Man would turn in his grave.
So I made the choice to branch out to Hapkimudo! I was already interested in this one. But here again, I had to be careful because sometimes the problem is not to find the dojo that practices it, but the right Master. By chance I met the right person with a strong spiritual dimension of the approach without neglecting what is the foundation of classical Hapkido, with a lot of foot and fist work, self defense and sparring! And yes, I don't see how one can instill knowledge without sparring, without doing real defence or attack combat. To do this, he uses other disciplines to confront us with various situations! ( I practice Muay Thai in parallel, it promises ^^)
Being also a Taekwondo Master, he strongly and easily integrates these techniques to Hapkimudo
