Scrapper - Official Trailer

- Following her mother’s death, a resourceful 12-year-old girl, Georgie (#LolaCampbell), continues to live alone in their London-outskirts flat. She makes money stealing bikes with her friend, Ali (Alin Uzun), and keeps the social workers off her back by pretending to live with an uncle. It works like a charm until Jason (#HarrisDickinson, Triangle of Sadness) shows up. Apparently, he’s her father - so long estranged that she doesn’t recognise him. Sizing him up as a rubbish dad (absent, messy, can’t cook), Georgie wonders why he’s suddenly taking an interest. Especially when she’s doing just fine on her own, thank you very much.
#Scrapper is a vibrant, joyful, imaginative story that is full of aesthetic energy and heart-warming charm. Dickinson and Campbell bring a magical quality to this father-daughter story of two emotionally tangled people: a grieving kid thrust into adulthood and father in over his head.

Saw this tonight as a secret screening at my local cineworld. It's an amazing film and I will be going to see it again
Where can i wath it?
@@angiesegovia4194paramount plus!
Ey, how can I join the secret screenings in my city?
Saw this yesterday and loved it. There's so much heart in this film, and a lot of emotional vulnerability. I laughed, I cried. Beautiful.
Where can i wath it?
@@angiesegovia4194 Not sure at the moment, it was just on in my local Picturehouse cinema. Imagine it won’t be long until it’s available on iTunes etc
Enough to make a grown man cry, and that’s alright
Ain’t cried at a movie like that in ages
Going in the Top 5
Amazing film. Definitely one of the most underrated films this year. I'd say it deserves "movie of the year" and the director deserves an award for her such an amazing first movie. The way the movie is reminded me of some early Gus Van Sunt movies like Paranoid Park, or the movie "United States of Leland" even though they are completely different from each other. The music, the camera work, the acting are just RIGHT. A light emotional quiality drama/comedy. This movie and the Holdovers are the best movies of 2023. I don't remember being so impressed by a movie in recent years, except with CODA in 2021. Definitely wanna see more movies from the director. Much love from Russia.
watched at secret screening! literally amazing i cried way too much
Adding this to the “must watch” list!
What a gem. I love this film!
This feels like Aftersun
Like I won't lie, the Odeon Screen Unseen clues had me believing this was going to be the new Poirot and I had my heart set on it so that was a bit of a surprise lol but I actually found the chemistry between the two leads engaging
Just heard Charlotte & Lola on 6music, I shall definitely be watching this!👌
Absolutely incredible film!
Just watched it and I like it. The film looks as if it costs about six postage stamps but it is worth a watch. A simple wonderfully funny and emotional short movie. Recommended 👍
7/10. Its not a comedy film like the trailer makes you think. Its 95% slow drama
I would say that’s about fair
Trailer don't look like a comedy
Would definitely recommend. Different to most other films this year.
What a great little film, I enjoyed this!
Love the nod to Paris, Texas
This is a pretty good movie I liked it a lot every actor nailed their roles and arcs and that little girl that played Georgie has a bright future ahead of her. She definitely has talent. Scrapper is on Showtime on demand I highly recommend it it’s something different.
Lola Campbell and Harris Dickinson did well in the movie!
Heard Raleigh Ritchie in the trailer and had to watch.
I just saw this on Prime and enjoyed it. Very good acting. ❤
Looks brilliant

This is Beautiful
Just saw this delightful film. Go and see it
looking forward to seeing this !

It’s on Showtime on demand I liked it a lot. That little girl that played “Georgie” is a talented young lady she should have a bright future with good guidance.
Looks like a good one to watch with the kids.
Watched it tomorrow,loved it!
I watched it ten years from now

Let’s hope for more fathers rights in 2024
Directed by Ali g with a greggs sausage roll.
Does anyone know what’s the song at first few minutes of the movie? It’s like grime (not Skepta but someone similar).
Think it was The Streets if I remember
@@orryy yeeah, i found that 2 mins after i post that comment 😅
Its The Streets - Turn the page
I need a title of the streets song from that's movie, please help 🙏
What’s with the West Ham shirt?
is this a kids film?
0:55 what’s the song here
So did The Kitchen copy this story? The Kitchen also about a kid who's mother dies and the dad turns up. Strange
Can someone recommend more Brit movies similar to this?. Thanks
Aftersun!
And also a new Swedish film called ”Paradise is burning” by Mika Gustafsson. Very similar story and vibe!
@wascot2910 I watched Aftersun last night and honestly I don't like it. It was slow and boring and almost put me to sleep. Thanks anyway.

This trailer shows all the worst aspects of the film, all the annoying quirky bits.
I saw yesterday the premier, honestly best National Lottery funded film I saw this year. I just laughed to much and loved every moment. Thank you for this masterpiece. 🫶🏼✨
