Lot of really good, affordable bi-color lights coming out the past few years. Well done on the video.

Thanks Damien. This is actually helpful for someone that is a photographer and not a filmmaker. Appreciate the tips

This! I’m a photographer / starting videographer and as I’m using also Nanlite lights, this video is 👌🏻

Most informative blend of vision, light and gear. Thanks!

I enjoy using my bi-color lights way more than my daylight balanced lights! They're great. The Aputure 60X is a steal!

Hey Damien! Fellow DP in California here. Great explanation here.
Could you do a video explaining mixing different white balance in camera with different white balance on set to create different looks? Not sure if it's more difficult than it actually is, but that's something I confuse myself with - especially when it comes to preserving skin tones or matching to the dominant white balance to create the look. If that makes sense.

Assume video! Question, for my first key light…Amaran 100 DS, or 100 XS? I will most likely only use in my office for steaming, maybe a few item reviews and possibly once in a while use at different locations indoor, non commercial use. Thank you!

Hi Damian - how do you deal with keeping the skin tone correct when bringing in warmer lights etc - I see you have the camera always set here to 5600K? Great videos as usual!

Are you using a Black Mist filter? What strength if so?
