Isn't it dangerous to put socket on the floor? The danger comes from water, either by cleaning with water or dropping water on the floor. Hopefully y'all gonna manage that somehow.
Floor boxes are usually perfectly safe as they IP rated for water/dust. You'd normally find them in office buildings and other commercial spaces. The domestic staff, however, need to be briefed on sensible cleaning methods.
