I just adopted two African dwarf frogs on the 1st of August and I absolutely love them! I have them in my 5.5 gallon tank that is bare bottom tank! And I have been feeding my babies shrimp pellets that I have! And they love it! I can't wait to see how they do in my care!
I upgraded my two African dwarf frogs and baby African dwarf frog to a 10 gallon tank and adopting a new African dwarf frog this coming month! To add to my family! I couldn't be happier
@@kasieleow3165 I hope they are doing well! I recently got two African Dwarf Frogs that had an owner that wasn't caring for them properly, so I'm excited to make their lives better. They have such adorable personalities!
❤ thank you for the info I am learning about them myself so I can adopt two African dwarf frogs soon! Just to let you know they do well in a 5.5 gallon tank if you can keep up with water changes!😊
LEAVE WILDLIFE IN THE WILD. PLEASE DON'T PROMOTE ANIMALS AS PETS ESPECIALLY THESE FROGS! African dwarf frogs require specialized care-yet consumers are misled to believe that they’re “low-maintenance.” Many frogs die as a result. In nature, they live 15 years on average. In captivity, they’re lucky to make it to age 5. Selling frogs is inhumane. The artificial “biospheres” don’t allow them enough space to live comfortably, and there’s no filtration system, so the water can quickly become filthy and toxic. Frogs are vectors of salmonella and can easily pass the dangerous bacteria to humans, including children or immunocompromised people.
Bloodworms are not good for them.(bloat) .UK is ok though. They can eat frozen mysis shrimps , brine shrimps , Blackwoorms . You can get them in the refrigerator section in pet stores( cones in cubes). Also pellet food formulated for frogs.Sand is not recommended. Bare ground or gravel 5mm , for substrate.Height 12 inches maximum.
My babies are in a beautiful little 5 gallon aquarium with plastic plants and doing just fine! They enjoy it in there! They are so enjoyable

How do you clean the algae in the tank ?
Magnetic glass cleaner or only turn your lights on for 3 hours a day. Algae feed off light and can increase nitrate levels in tank.
Talk about clawed frogs please
I believe ADF are close to blind
Why is my swarf fron floating on the top of the tank hes been like that for 3 days why is he going too die.😮
