A good way to wear jellies without being bothered by your visible nail line is applying a blurring base coat beforehand (smoothing base coats usually also have this effect). A smoothing base also prevents the jelly from "pooling" in ridges, etc.
@Craftasaurous Wrecks I'm on a pretty tight budget so I stick to drugstore brands for base and top coats. The Ridge Filler base coat by Essence works great for me and leaves me with enough money for awesome indie polishes 😀
I like seeing nail art videos that aren't overly edited and perfected. I think I am sort of good at nail art, but I have fails all the time and try to still post them because I don't want to fall into the perfection trap. I hope that if you like making them, you'll do more nail art videos cuz I likes 'em!
I appreciate your inconsistency and mediocrity (your vid name cracked me up) for real tho I love the variety of your videos and your relatable perspective. Great job as usual!
You really gave me a bunch of new-to-me ideas for nailart using jellies!! Thank you! They all look great and super fun. I generally shy away from nailart because I feel like it never looks that wonderful (or at least not as wonderful as images on social media!!). Also, I feel like it takes me 3 hours to do a design, and I just don't want to take that much time. But you've re-inspired me with this video!! Thanks for all your content.
Of course make more of these type of vid.! What makes a fun is the fact that you are not perfect (like most of us lol) but you giving your best! I loved all your ideas and takes on jelly sandwiches!
There are some nail techs I follow on Instagram (mainly in east Asia, it seems) who are starting to do these sheer "jelly" looks w/ all types of earth tones, to where it looks like polished stones or colored glass on the nails. I would love to know how they achieve that, but your choice of colors at the beginning reminds me of the colors they would use.
That was awesome!!! You explain each step very clearly, and it doesn't seem so intimidating to try the different styles. The dotted one that bled seems like it could be interesting to do deliberately. Place some of the dots and let them dry completely. Then place some dots and let them only semi-dry, and deliberately smear them with the second coat. I think the last one might be interesting to do with contrasting colour cremes, rather than matching colour cremes, like red and yellow, or purple and orange. Thanks for a great video!
This was so fun! Would love to see more nail art videos, cos I'm lazy to do anything too difficult myself and enjoyed these more beginner-friendly ideas. One of my fav things to do with jellies is make gradients using the bottle brush. I've mostly been buying cheaper Korean sheers/crelly polishes.
I love the newer Cirque Jellies and glitters they are available on Amazon as well tfs I have some older Wet n Wild jellies that are amazing for a pond mani I layered white flowers with a dotting tool so it really looked like a pond with the blue . I got blue and pink . Was a great collection can probably still get it . I was surprised when I googled some old polishes like the first one I wore a lot when I stopped biting my nails I was looking at it last night, SH antiqued Gold Shatter . I’d wear it alone lol . Anyway I saw it’s still available. Many older gems 💎 Can you believe shatter is coming back I suppose most things do 🫠 I love the Orly Jellies I haven’t seen them yet 😲
i cant stand seeing a top nail line 🙅🏻♀️ but you actually made me like these somehow?! when you add the glitter or stamps it distracts from the nail line and does give an awesome effect! who knew?!
These were so fun! For the pond stamping manicure, did you put down a water based TC, and/or how long did you let the stamping dry, before you added the next layer of jelly polish?

What's your favorite base? I'm using cirque colors ridge filling base coat.

never heard of a blurring base!
@@phoenixkayra555 thank you! I was looking for a less expensive option. :)

I never thought of mixing transparent jelly formulas with opaque creams! Such a good contrast, that was def my favourite look
I never comment on videos, lol. I LOVED this video. Thanks for spending the time to do it. More please!
I really enjoyed your examples of jelly sandwiches. I never thought of stamping in between! 😳🤯
Yep, make more nail art video's! No matter od they are not Perfect, this make it more real for everybody new in nail art ally :)
I love this video! Cool new ideas (to me anyway) and an honest representation of how it went for you. Please feel free to share more like this!

I prefer jellies bc I have short nails. Very cool look with a nice topper like spotted from Cirque Colors.
I love this! I'm so down for more nail art
Thanks for this video! So many good ideas. I love jellies and usually just wear them plain. maybe I’ll try something new?

I'm not a huge jelly fan on myself, but the stamping ones were super cute!

Where do u buy them, if you don't mind?
I still can't get behind jellies, but I love how some of these look- especially the geometric design and stamping.
This is high effort and amazing content. Love this, can’t wait to try some.
Such good inspo! I wonder if the creme/jelly angled one could be done with a design in white underneath and then the jelly on that

Some very fun approaches here!
I really liked this! My favorite was the stamping one!

I truly love your videos! I tried to find that Hello Kitty stamping plate but no luck. Can you please tell me where I can purchase it online?
I got mine second hand so I'm not sure if it's still available I'm sorry!
I like this video, I have no imagination and can always use a little push to get me out of my comfort zone. Hope to meet you tomorrow.
At 1min 55 sec, is that a baby skunk in the yard?I
It’s a bird I believe
I think it's probably a bird! My upstairs neighbors have a ton of bird seed that falls into the yard so we always have tons of birds hanging out!
I had a little family of skunks in my yard last week and now I think I see them everywhere.
