Ultimately Larry "retired" Bruno, goes to Georgia and Dusty,Hansen,the Andersons,Dick Slater,etc. run away, he goes to the AWA and retired Bockwinkel and BOTH Gagnes, goes to WCW and what happened to the Road Warriors,Rock 'N Roll Express,4 Horsemen ( besides Flair who ran away later). The Dangerous Alliance was NOTHING without him. Ran the future Triple H out of there and retired on top. Larry the Legend.
This was similar to the signing between Sammartino and Morales before the first ever Showdown at Shea in 1972, except for no post-signing comments from the participants.
bruno knew he was getting older and he also knew by 1980 larry had surpassed him in the ring. while bruno was a man of integrity every man is capable of doing anything when desperate so it wouldnt shock me if bruno did pay off the refs like larry said

This was Pro Wrestling as Pro Wrestling can get Burno look PISSED and RIGHTFULLY SO and Zbysko did a great job of bringing this intensity out of him
