It's really difficult to convince intelligent people that a group of humans that already literally, demonstrably, unequivocally and inarguably have more legal rights and privileges than their male counterparts are somehow victims. You are either going to have to frame it another way or start making arguments for actual parity among the groups. Wonder why polling looks the way it does? Because men in particular are tired of hearing about 'women's rights' when they dominate the field. When people keep making these arguments, you lose ground. Here are just some examples:
      a) Women have the right to genital integrity - Laws protect females at birth from genital mutilation. No such "parity" exists for boys.
      b) Women have the right to vote without agreeing to die - Since the 1920's, women have had the right to vote without the added social cost of signing up for selective services. Women inherit their right to have a political voice without the inherent duty to potentially die for it. Also, without potentially being fined, jailed, lose federal grants, training and assistance if they elect not to sign up for Selective Service.
      c) Women have the right to choose parenthood - Men have no choice if or when they will become a parent. Women may abort the child before it is born, they may surrender the child for adoption without notifying or identifying the father or they may surrender the infant under Safe Haven laws and walk away from all responsibility and obligation. Women cannot be forced or coerced into parenthood, but they are legally allowed to force men into financing their reproductive choices.
      d) Women have the right to be assumed caregivers for children - Fathers must prove a mother unfit in order to receive custody of his children. The same is not true in the reverse. Women don't have the obligation to prove a father unfit, it is legally assumed.
      e) Women have the right to call unwanted, coerced sex rape - The original FBI definition of rape specifically identified women as the victims, excluding the possibility of male rape victims. When the FBI updated that, it did so in way that includes a small minority of male rape victims but excluded most male rape victims by retaining the “penetration” clause. Penetration of any orifice must occur for rape to have happened.
These are a few examples but are more than enough to disabuse anyone from continuing the 'woe is wymynz rights' delusion. Start pressuring congress to make statements about men getting an equal right to parentage (say, the ability to walk away from financing a woman's choice to keep a child he does not want) and you'll get men in droves.

I am beginning to think that four years under the "governance" of the worst of the worst has motivated Dems beyond any previous level of engagement. Up until 2016, you could honestly say that, while they had different ideas about how to go about it, both parties were quite similar in basic premise of taking care of the country. More or less. And Dems aren't perfect. But from the evidence, the Democrats running for office are genuinely wanting to improve the country, while the Republicans ... aren't.
Well, unless their idea of "improving the country" means stripping more than half of America (all minorities, add LGBTQ+, and all women - add them up and you have more than half the country) of at least some of their existing rights. We already know they're looking sidelong at the Amendment that allowed gay marriage. And they work hard at making certain groups have to really work at it to cast a vote. Roe vs. Wade being overturned after fifty years, because of the unethical stacking of the SCOTUS by Mitch McConnell has opened up possibilities they never considered feasible before.

They're wrong, but possibly that's because they can't imagine Republicans taking away birth control. It was maybe 5, 6 years or so ago that there was a controversy or uproar in Saudi Arabia concerning some aspect of women's rights. I don't recall the issue but what stuck with me was the women counter-protesting with the slogan "my guardian knows what's best for me".
Patriarchy is not only men, it's a system, and some women support it.
In the Saudi women's case I would guess they were concerned about their right to be protected and supported. They weren't about to question why they should need male protection and support.
I think some conservative Christian women are in about the same place. So in their view, Republicans would be expanding their rights and freedoms.
