When you said “i missed myself” I literally burst into tears. I know girl. Oh my God, I know, it’s so disorienting realising that you lost yourself, especially the first time. Because you don’t know how it works, you dont know what it is that one does when they lose themselves... plus, you look around and it seems like no one has an idea of what it’s like (not true, btw). Oh my God that really did hit me hard. I went through the exact same thing for a couple of years, and when I started realising that I had lost myself somewhere dow the road, I went into total confusion... and that was when I started feeling better. I mean, I felt like shit, scared, alone, clueless... but at least I felt, and it was great still. It gets better. And then it gets worse, but when it does you know that it gets better again... You grow older, you gain the tools to make it through everytime. I love you, I hope you don’t have to go on hiatuses again... but if you do, I will be here waiting to get a notification to hit on as fast as I can! ♥️

One thing that my therapist told me that really helped me when I would relapse back into depression is that it's to be expected. I would be really hard on myself when I would relapse because I felt that it meant I wasn't "fixed" yet. But now when I relapse, it's sort of a reminder that I have made progress, it'll end eventually, and I've come back from worse. As long as you keep fighting, you haven't lost.
When you started crying, it made me tear up. I know the exact feeling about depression eating your personality and even though you feel it happen you don't know how to change it back. Kinda where I am rn Or as something I read once put it: The wheel is turning but the hamster is dead, which always makes me smile ha Sending you love xx

So funny, so authentic and helped me see in another video that valuing my personality instead of my looks (which I feel especially insecure about.) is how I can reclaim my beauty. Beauty is what we radiate from the inside out, I'm staring to own that just now and I'm 40 years old! No matter what your weight or how you look you will always have a massive following on youtube because you are so FABULOSO! Your soul just connects to so many different people out there effortlessly, just look at the number of followers you have! Also, chronic depression is not your fault, but it can be healed. Diet is way more important than excersize. An overgrowth of parasites (research the gut - brain connection) creates enhanced levels of depression. Everyone has low levels of parasites for the body to function properly, but when they get out of hand they create massive disturbances in the body, including ridiculously hard food addictions to kick.. Parasites send messages to the brain to feed them more of what they like because they want to proliferate. Everyone is literally at war with their own gut terrain system, but not realizing. We think we think our own thoughts but parasites are often affecting our moods and thinking our thoughts for us, and can create heightened emotional instability / manic depression. If you truly want to kick depression switching to a raw vegan diet, or at the very least transitioning into a plant based diet can you help you achieve better brain chemistry. Also, making the switch from refined sugar to stevia or Xylitol can help. Refined sugar creates depression in the brain, and by refined sugar I am also speaking about anything made with flour. Bread, cookies, pasta etc all get absorbed as a processed sugar in the body and create huge spikes in insulin making it hard to stop eating them and ever feel full... they massively feed parasites too, which create ongoing depression. It's really difficult to make a diet switch if you don't have your own kitchen, unless your parents get on board too. Processed food can be really tempting. I love sweets and now I eat raw vegan cake which tastes even better than real cake. Most desserts can be made raw vegan, so you will never feel like you're missing out. Cutting heated oils is really important too..heating any type of oil is majorly carcinogenic and oils are often very high in bad fats. Animals in the wild eat raw and they suffer ZERO cancer, manic depression and other illnesses effecting humans and domesticated pets eating cooked foods. I wish you luck on your mental health journey and this is just the belief system I subscribe too, take it or leave it. It's helped me a lot on my health journey and I wanted to share.. no worries if you're not into it.. but maybe one of these videos will have something valuable in it for you to take away. Thing is, she's actually so good looking. Massive beautiful eyes, great teeth, great nose and lipS, and a sense of humour that a lot of people literally dream of, and judging from her mates, she's incredibly caring too. If Abi can't get a partner, I'm fricken doomed.

One thing that my therapist told me that really helped me when I would relapse back into depression is that it's to be expected. I would be really hard on myself when I would relapse because I felt that it meant I wasn't "fixed" yet. But now when I relapse, it's sort of a reminder that I have made progress, it'll end eventually, and I've come back from worse. As long as you keep fighting, you haven't lost.

I just realised.....whenever im at the lowest point of my life, i always just watch ur videos and it makes me genuinely feel so much better. It's just nice knowing someone else is going through what I am and I'm not alone. i thought there was something wrong with me. and now i've realised it must've been very hard for you when you were at your lowest point and searching up for people on youtube to relate to and couldn't find anyone. you have impacted so many people's lives by just making these videos so no one else would feel the way you did when you were at your lowest. i just wish the best for you and hope we will get through this together. along with many other people going through a very hard time in their lives. thanks abi

I remember finding your channel 6 years ago, right when I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. Your videos helped me so much to get through that time.
I used to watch your videos over and over, you made me feel less lonely when I was the loneliest I’ve ever been.

idk what it is about you, but your videos resonate with me more than anything else. You articulate the feeling of depression more than any "inspirational" mental health blogger ever could. I feel like your videos joking about self hatred have genuinely helped me take myself less seriously and stop giving so many fucks about peoples perception. I come back here every few months and there are always so many recent comments, I feel like a lot of people really connect with you. If you read this, don't put any pressure on yourself, but just know that there are so many people here that vibe with what you're about and we'd happily watch new stuff if you ever felt like coming back
this whole video just hit so hard for me. i’ve been there, and never really been able to explain it but I was literally nodding along with you the whole time. I think one of the most surprisingly relatable moments was when you said the more you try the worse it gets. I feel that. I’ve found that it’s actually sticking to goals that’s hard. I’ll try it for a week and just fall back into my hole again.

So funny, so authentic and helped me see in another video that valuing my personality instead of my looks (which I feel especially insecure about.) is how I can reclaim my beauty. Beauty is what we radiate from the inside out, I'm staring to own that just now and I'm 40 years old! No matter what your weight or how you look you will always have a massive following on youtube because you are so FABULOSO! Your soul just connects to so many different people out there effortlessly, just look at the number of followers you have!
Also, chronic depression is not your fault, but it can be healed. Diet is way more important than excersize. An overgrowth of parasites (research the gut - brain connection) creates enhanced levels of depression. Everyone has low levels of parasites for the body to function properly, but when they get out of hand they create massive disturbances in the body, including ridiculously hard food addictions to kick.. Parasites send messages to the brain to feed them more of what they like because they want to proliferate. Everyone is literally at war with their own gut terrain system, but not realizing. We think we think our own thoughts but parasites are often affecting our moods and thinking our thoughts for us, and can create heightened emotional instability / manic depression. If you truly want to kick depression switching to a raw vegan diet, or at the very least transitioning into a plant based diet can you help you achieve better brain chemistry. Also, making the switch from refined sugar to stevia or Xylitol can help. Refined sugar creates depression in the brain, and by refined sugar I am also speaking about anything made with flour. Bread, cookies, pasta etc all get absorbed as a processed sugar in the body and create huge spikes in insulin making it hard to stop eating them and ever feel full... they massively feed parasites too, which create ongoing depression. Mind - Body - Spirit connection should really be Body - Mind - Spirit connection because diet effects the body way more than if you excersize or not, although ofcourse excersize releases endorphins which can help with depression and also can help regulate food quantity intake.. Just walking fast around your neighborhood for 30 min or on a treadmill can really help. It's really difficult to make a diet switch if you don't have your own kitchen, unless your parents get on board too. Processed food can be really tempting. I love sweets and now I eat raw vegan cake which tastes even better than real cake. Most desserts can be made raw vegan, so you will never feel like you're missing out. Cutting heated oils is really important too..heating any type of oil is majorly carcinogenic and oils are often very high in bad fats. Animals in the wild eat raw and they suffer ZERO cancer, manic depression and other illnesses effecting humans and domesticated pets eating cooked foods. I wish you luck on your mental health journey and this is just the belief system I subscribe too, take it or leave it. It's helped me a lot on my health journey and I wanted to share.. no worries if you're not into it.. but maybe one of these videos will have something valuable in it for you to take away.
