There are some people out there who unfortunately only watch kpop, BTS in particular, to gain views. The down side is that they tend to be disrespectful, they don't actually try to understand the music or appreciate it, and honestly their videos are really annoying. I haven't seen that with you. You genuinely seem interested in the music and I love the videos you do with your friends. There’s a lot of people that use BTS or Kpop or other things for views, but I’ve never felt that way about you. Anyone who’s actually watched your videos and who has listened to your reactions and your thoughts would see that you actually reflect deeply about the lyrics, about the personality, about the messages artists are trying to get across in their lyrics or their music videos. Not only that, but you’re honest. We can see what songs you think are bops, we can see which songs have lyrics you relate to, or like. We witness you analyzing the songs, the videos, finding out their personalities. I think it’s awesome that you try to be open, that you are learning new things about Korean culture and kpop culture. Your videos, whether they’re fun, deep, or just you bopping to a cool MV or track that was recommended to you, are genuine and we can see that. Anyone who is sending hate is just being petty and trying to discourage people. Of course, there are some people who are trying to defend BTS or other artists, they might think that you’re using them. But you should focus on doing what you want, and being you.

The hooded/masked figures are just backup dancers/trainees who dance under variety of kpop idols to get the experience they need to become idols themselves or stay as a back up dancer and some are paid to be backup dancers....they rarely ever show they’re faces for privacy reasons plus not the main focus. They’re also not all asian dancers either (Come from all over to join the Kpop world)

idk if you still don't know what the crow-tit thing is but that is an accurate translation. It's just a common Korean idiom meaning someone who's kind of like a 'try-hard' because they have a story and it's basically about this crow-tit that wants to be more like the cranes or w/e and it ends up like breaking it's legs trying to walk like the crane. it's usually used as a derrogatory word against poorer people or people with rougher backgrounds who try to make a life for themselves as something better because they're 'trying to be something they're not' or whatever. BTS as a group were really often called Baepsae(crow tit) by everyone else in the k-pop industry since they come from BigHit which is/was a smaller company so they've taken to like reclaiming the word as their own almost? like they often sing about sticking up for 'crow-tits' and that there really isn't such a thing as a crow-tit in the real world and they're proof of that. I hope that sort of helped?

It's OK to call BTS K-pop because Kpop is literally Korean popular music. That is essentially what pop music is. Pop(ular) music. So any Korean music that is popular in Korea would be considered. Kpop. Yes, just like western music, there are multiple genres of music such as K-hiphop, K-R&B, K-Rock, K-Jazz, K-reggae, K-ballads, K-dance/house music, etc. There are just as many styles of K-pop music in Korea as there are in the western music industry. But it all fits under the K-pop title. In America if we were to label our music in the same way it would all be A-pop and it would then be further defined as A-R&B, A-Country, A-hiphop, A-Jazz, etc. So ignore those people that are upset about the way you label things, because they are just uneducated and don't really understand the root of where the labels come from and really what it means.
