I think it is an admirable cause to restore the estuary and help the salmon. I do hope that you and the Squamish River Watershed Society, consider the user groups and future user groups (our kids) who do use the Spit as an access point to access the wind. I've been windsurfing and kitesurfing here for over 30 years and can't imagine life without access to the very special destination. I hope we can find away to work together.

This place will always be a part of who I am. I sure hope that this unique ecological wonderland will be treated with more respect in the future than it has been in our past. With the modernization of Squamish and the influx of people, both great risk and opportunity are at hand. However, my greatest fears for Howe Sound are the dreadnought industries of mining and fossil fuels owned by distant investors who have no stake in the ecosystem. The defenders of the land must be strong!

Thanks Bob, for another beautifully filmed, educational video. I’m a resident of Squamish and spend a lot of my time outdoors. It is so nice to the Estuary through your eyes!

An absolutely engaging and inspiring overview of the estuary's history and ecology, sharing the incredible breadth of geography - from mountain glaciers to tidal currants - and the constant dynamics that create this biodiverse rich ecosystem. It must have taken untold hours to dream up and create: thank you ever so much!

Great info-packed capsule, thank you Bob. The work to re-water and "re-mud" the estuary is critical to the health of the area, and Howe Sound.

Excellent video! I would love to get involved with the restoration and conservation of Howe Sound, but I am not sure where to start or who to speak with. I would be keen to chat with you sometime.
