Series One was generously supported but international karate community, and we need your help again. Please check out the description to see all those who made it possible, and please consider becoming a supporter or sponsor for Series Two so that we can keep this going!

Living in an age when we can use internet and technology to capture in film this moment in time when karate masters are giving their own experiences and thoughts and feelings, immortalised forever
What a time to be Alive

"What a time to be Alive", but also "Use this time, while they are still alive" It really is a race against time.

Thank you for this series. As a practitioner of Isshinryu at a traditional Okinawan Dojo here in the United States( unfortunately rare these days)this is my favorite thing on RUclips.

Excellent; thank you. May be M. Taira Sensei (Goju ryu) among other more obscure Sensei could be on that series.

We thought we might have to stop after Series One, but we wanted to keep pushing and documenting these important cultural figures.

Shotokan is main land karate and is different to Okinawa karate. Kobudo is traditional weapons which go hand-in hand with Okinawa karate
