A tip to make swallowing pills easier: Put the pill in a tablespoon of applesauce, yogurt or pudding. Let the pill soften for a minute. Swallow the pill with the applesauce. It goes down much better! Get well soon!
It’s okay I was nervous too! Girl you’re crushing it like the total badass that you are. I have big fear of needles so I opted out of the anesthesia. The healing process goes by quicker then expected ❤ Ps. Lots of popsicles, jello, soup, yogurt, cream of wheat, sorbet and smoothies
jacy, i feel like you would really enjoy my little story so i got all 4 wisdom teeth out...awake. i actually requested to be awake bc i was kinda the opposite of the "norm". the fear of being put out scared me more than getting teeth pulled so i rather be awake knowing what's going on than being loopy and such. it was SUCH a good experience i swear!! i was still numbed in my mouth but i didn't feel a thing and they were so gentle considering i was awake! plus i actually feel like it went by even quicker bc i didn't need an iv and all the other stuff. it seriously took like 15m for all 4 teeth.. they took them out like as fast as a baby tooth🤣 plus i barely had swelling which i'm very lucky and i was eating normal food quicker than i should've lol (but i do also believe the dentist i went to was just incredible. i literally cannot rave about it enough lol) since kacy has all 4, i recommend doing it awake🤣 it may not be as funny and entertaining for youtube but it's really not a big deal!
I hope Jacy feels better soon! I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled when I was 21! You will be ok! Eat lots of soft foods & sleep lots! It took me a week to recover when I got mine pulled I got strep throat after too!
I had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out in 2020, I was put asleep and after that I couldn’t remember a thing lol. Sometime this month I have to get my top wisdom teeth removed, wish me luck. Kacy your a good sister ❤😊

I was told that (UK) dentists don't like using full anhaesthesia and that they would sedate me instead. I had visions of really 'experiencing' the removal, but instead I went straight from getting sedative injection to post-operation in an instant. Weird. I was told beforehand that I wouldn't remember it, but never believed it would be true. My only problem afterwards was jagged jaw bone sticking out of my gum - had to get it dremeled down - and then the gum took literally months to close up properly because I had two adjacent teeth removed, leaving a rift valley in the gum. Glad to be free of toothache at least!
I was awake for my Wisdom teeth & I'll say it's not scary at all, lol 😂 I wanted to be asleep too, but due to my chronic illnesses that would have been dangerous for me so they decided against it. But they gave me a sedative the morning of my surgery & during ofc my mouth was all numb & I had laughing gas (which didn't make me laugh at all, but it makes u weirdly calm & not worry about what's happening, lol 🤣). It's kinda cool though bc I remember everything that happened during my surgery even though I was so loopy lol. U can't really hear anything besides the laughing gas machine. And In your mouth all you feel is slight pressure. I had to do it twice, bc I had all 4 wisdom teeth, but again, due to my chronic illnesses they decided it was better to do 2 at a time instead of all 4. So 2 wks later I had to go back for a 2nd time. Heeling sucked but thankfully I didn't bruise or swell that badly either. So It was only pain really. Cold jello really helped the pain for me though, lol. But being awake wasn't that bad. I even remember the dentist asking me if I wanted to keep the teeth & I remember looking at him & saying "Huh, no, definitely not" but bc I was so out of it he didn't believe me, so he asked my mom who then said no definitely not 🤣 (neather of us can stand teeth out of where they should be lol 😆).

I had to be awake when I got my wisdom teeth removed. They numbed my mouth and I also only had two teeth. One of the popped out in 5 minutes and the other took about 30 minutes. The lidocaine started to wear off so they had to numb me again me to cut into the bone to remove the tooth because it was not budging. I asked them to readminister the lidocaine because I felt like I started to feel the procedure. It wasn't terrible the worst part was waiting and then going to Walgreens to get medicine was difficult and since my mouth was numb i couldn't properly drink water. Luckily i never have to go through that again. Feel better Jacy, and Kacy good luck when it's your turn.
i got teeth extractions done 2 weeks ago and i was in pain for only 1 day and then the next couple of days, i was completely fine but my dentist told me i didn't have to get my wisdom teeth out which is good and now i'm scheduled to get braces at the end of the month!

Wasn’t too bad but I guess my teeth were just really ready to come out. I hope your recovery goes quick and smoothly.

Luckily enough that I don't have wisdom teeth I mean I'm not going to ginx it but at this moment I don't but will see what happens in the future I also don't have cavities either that I know of like this month marks a year of my family moving back to Florida and that is how long I haven't been to a dentist so maybe the results has changed since then.

Omg I remember I only had three wisdom teeth taken out 4 years ago and wow I can't believe Jacy wasn't bad like mine. I had to stop wearing my retainers 3.5 weeks cause my left side of my jaw was in pain. It was most impacted but now I still wear my retainers and no more permanent retainers cause they broke too many times very frustrating.
Hey I know how you feel I got my wisdom teeth out too I think when I was 19 or 20 I was not awake for the whole thing I had all four taken out 😊 cause my dentist suggested it it's alot easier for them to clean the teeth in the back without them. Jacy, you should eat soft foods after your surgery like Jello, Ice cream, Oatmeal, Chicken Soup, Yogurt, Smoothie, etc.
