Got to love those newfangled voice-activated auto pilots that enable you to admire the view :)
Why spend all that dough on glass?...lol
😂
Nice! And soon to be replaced by Tesla’s Optimus Robot. A Glimpse of the future😎🥰
I'd love to have one of those, but my plane is a single seater...
I have one that brings me coffee in the morning.
Thank you for showing what our tv news does not. They sometimes seem to be forced to say something about the lake, but its eather so much water that this lake is full and no photos or just the opposite in that its draining and almost gone. Once in awhile a youtuber on a motorcycle will rid over and give a report from the road but this is like looking trough a straw and perspective is lacking.
This video is proof positive that the lake still lives and maybe can grow if we get an unexpected heat wave.
Love your flying videos and your keeping us updated with Orville. 👍
Is it draining or just seeping into the aquifer and/or evaporating? I ask because some bozo made the claim that the government was creating artificial droughts by draining reservoirs. I just laughed at him because you can’t fix that kind of 🪽 🌰 .
Juan videos are great but doesn’t anyone out there have a cheap drone with camera? I take drone footage for neighboring farmers and river for duck hunters all the time, quick and cheap. But hey flying a 310 is definitely more fun. 😆
just gotta say, the 310 is absolutely stunning in that paint scheme
Isn't it!
I had a B model 310 for nine years. Loved it. Traded up to an R model. We had it eighteen years. GREAT airplane. Watch out for the cable system for prop, throttle and mixture. It looks like 1/4” tubing (with the push/pull cable inside) but it is not. The tubing and fittings are made of unobtanium. There is an STC to convert to modern cables.
Juan I love the 310 sounds
I worked on a part of Boswell farm in 2008 for John Deere Experimental. I lived in Tulare
Damn, that 310 is a sexy beast! 🥰🥰
Love the wingtip tanks
Always a good day when Harvey takes us aloft.
Love the 310 -- Auto Pilot needs a shave.
The engines sound smooth and crispy.
Great name and Tail Art on Harvey!!
I wondered what that looked like the other day.. Thanks Juan!! 👍
I thought Juan was flying the plane and using his cell. Nope. Always a professional. Maybe scud running a little bit on occasion (but totally aware of the terrain).
In GPWS we trust 🫡
VAAP ? I didn’t realize Harvey had one.
We had to find the free hamburgers...;-)
Listen to those engines purrrrring!
Thanks for your video.
It looks like Boswells will be able to plant lots of acreage this year on the dried out ground.
Unfortunately that autopilot needs lunch!
And a nice dinner
Good news. Because in the Alps mountains in Europe, this was the hotest winter I have ever seen in more thann50 years. I used to ski in a area where for the first time there wasn’t any snow at all in February. The snow limit was at about 1900m altitude which is about 1000m more than it was 40 years ago, so about +6,5 celcius more.
Man Harvey sounds sweet!
Does it have engine synchronization or did he do a good job synchronizing the engines??
Manual! Just like tuning a guitar!
What a great view and the autopilot works very nicely. Thank you for showing the rough shape of the lake. Nature will prevail as always. Cheers
Love if you had a tie shirt with the Picture of Harvey on the colors
JB it's nice to see you paying it forward - great job!
Tip tanks look so cool
Love seeing Harvey. Purring sweet too.
The California Department of Water Resources estimates show the southern Sierra Nevada snowpack is at 91% of average April 1 level and no new snow predicted in the next week, so it does not look like Tulare Lake will get much new water this year when the snow melts.
California pretends to be the greenest state in the country. If they really wanted to help with the fires in southern California allowing the lake to return would have a massive effect. The area around the southern valley used to experience monsoon summer thunderstorms from the evaporation of Tulare as it was a large shallow lake. That with the moisture from the ocean humidity. The entire southern valley and surrounding area used to have a massive forest. Not forest could grow there now because it's so dry in the summers. Newsom and other politician need to learn about the water cycle apparently
@@BertMckraken The problem is that the land that was formerly covered by the lake is now owned by the JG Boswell company. The state would have to buy all that land from them, at a current market price that could be $1 billion.
👋👋👏👍🇦🇺top number mate safe flights.
I used to drive the very first Q model ever made, no Omni- vision window! Was fast!
So that was Siri's little brother.
That airplane sounds so good!
The real easy way to record cockpit audio is to insert your mic portion of your conventional plug-in earphone in between your ear and aviation headset , so that the recording sounds just like what your hear from your own ears ,just Make sure your headset cushions are as tight as it can
"voice-actuated autopilot"
...
😆🤣
Yep ol Harvey is very cool!
Who new tulare had a lake . Take care 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks, a wonderful aerial situation report. Love it!☮️
man those engines sure are tuned and balanced sounding great.
That is one sexy plane!
Wet here! Gulf of Mexico is full.
Thank you Capt. Browne. How much snow hit the homestead couple weeks ago.
Your 310 is a beautiful airplane, thanks for sharing it with us.
Given all the rain California has had this year, that seems rather surprising.
Early part of rain year was very dry.
You just caught them draining the lake ❗️
Hello Juan. Thank you for this update and the information you show and teach us. By the way, did you know that in Catalonia, Spain, we've been following a three year huge drough? It doesn't rain as much as we need and as much as we wished... The Catalan Government, finally had taken some action but it's not enough and didn't aproved the budget for water management and this year's budget due to the lack of support from the "Parlament". Very misleading and very deceiving... We have our réservoirs almost empty and they're paying ships filled with sweet water from Valencia within water restrictions. In Tarragona area, we are a bit luckier: we have transferrer water from the Ebro river since years. If you have time and if you feel like, you could make an update on that. If not, just enjoy with planes.
Missing panel on 737 500 ?
SFO mx?
We're at 102% snow pack in the lower Sierra. So lets see what the government does with melt.
Did I see you chatting with Roger Oxborrow at Estrella/Paso??????
C310 is one of my favorite general aviation planes, together with the Marchetti SF260. Maybe i'm partial to tiptanks?
Tiptanks on airplanes are like spoilers on cars, they make everything look cooler😎
Sky King love it
Jaun,I'm thinking about aircraft weight before take-off, beside me is a scale to measure trucks to be at the limit on roads. Why not implement that to measure aircraft on the taxi ways?
Thx, I was wondering if the lake was still there.
Will there be a super bloom again this year?
Cool plane!
Sky King at it again. Penny calling Flying Crown over!
Tulare Lake drying up!? Rats, I was gonna fly down there and do a few splash 'n go's!
I’d love to come fly with u sometime this summer. What make model is that u both are flying
Hey there wan brown.. me n many of my freinds wondering how the birdcage corsair is going at vultures row,,b great for another vid if poss b safe fly well.. craig from downunder
My guess is that a lot of the water went into the aquifer?
Orange is such a nice color😅
It will probably be mostly gone by the end of summer. The hot and very dry summer will evaporate most of it.
Do you plan to do a video on the private jet crash near Hot Springs, Va?
The manufactures and airliners are more concerned with DEI than safety and human life. So glad I didn't become part of what the industry has lowered itself to. I miss getting proudly aboard any Boeing airplane with total confidence.
Are farmers irrigating with that water?
No. It’s not suitable for irrigation as is. It is however being used for groundwater recharge purposes where they would let it into areas where it can naturally percolate down to recharge the aquifer as was traditionally the case in this valley. So in effect it is being used for irrigation in a round about way, but not directly.
I like this one: Voice-activated autopilot!
Good morning
The new AI autopilot!
More like RI autopilot; "Real Intelligence"
@@paulsherman51 You’re right! Lol
Lol damn the Boswells are well known
Cool plane
Sky King !
A 2nd pilot is definitely insurance in a twin engine piston
Boswells tomato farm? What kind of tomatoes ?
red ones
Actually I was just overhearing a conversation that due to adverse soil conditions for tomatoes they may go heavy on safflower this year in some of those areas. It’s gonna take a couple years of irrigation and non flooding rain to drive the salts back down below the root zone and make it good soil again in some of those areas.
@@mattf49006 I like yellow pear tomatoes.
Mostly canning tomatoes; I don't know what varieties that would be.
Voice actuated Autopilot!!! LOL!!!!
I'm hungry for a Dreamsicle now.
What makes the props look like they're bending 🤔
As the camera scans each line of the image area or scans the values received by the CCD matrix, the blade has moved a bit more, so as it scans down, the propeller has already rotated more. You should also notice the blade being fatter if the scanning is done in the same way the blade is rotating, or thinner if the scanning is done in the opposite direction of the rotation, and this fattening and narrowing should look opposite on the bottom from the top.
You would think with all the rain you had last month that Tulare would still be full.
Most of the rain fell on the coast. The lake is about 100 miles inland and in a mountain rain shadow. The restful as snow in the Sierra nevada mountains.
👍 JUAN BROWN 👍
Subtitles please
Hard to hear you
Is it possible that Los Angeles is stealing the water?
They've been doing that for decades.
✈️
More rain on the way
😱👽
Great J 😂🎉😅😮😊
But everyone knew it was gonna be a short run thing 😐
anybody watching the news today? 😅😅
Tulare
Oh no
Tulare
Will go
Dose Your auto pilot need potty breaks?
Tulare Lake may come back in 2047
They need the POWER of Drought, for CONTROL. I won't say anymore, other than to just keep watch. They ripped out the dam up at Copco Lake, where my parents were set to finish this life- they were forced to leave when they ripped that old dam out, "for wildlife's sake". Shoulda seen the hundreds of deer, DEAD, stranded in the mud & muck of what used to be a great place to go fishing on the Kalamath, and far more than just deer. Guess they didn't really care about "wildlife" after all.
Imagine that.
Copco lake is along the kalamoth river in far northern california. It is not a big river and and there is no way to get the water south to the rest of the state. The lake was created by smlall dam PG&E used to make electricity. Solor today is proving more power than all the dames on the Klamath river. at a lower cost. So PG&E did not renew the licenses to keep the dams in place. And there are no funds to maintain the dams. The primary reason for the removal was to restore the Salmon run in the river.
@@stevenf1678 No, solar is not. Solar has NO WAY to hold capacity.
They don't care about the "salmon" that's their EXCUSE.
Best do more than a tiny bit of reading on the internet, then come back here & post it like some kind of "truth".
I spent SEVERAL years in solar in my youth, and my folks were fighting against this for DECADES- They lived there for around 30 years- they KNOW the history well.
They're doing the same thing to other damns as well- they are DESTROYING places people LIVE, their HOMES, their LAND, their LIVES, in order to TAKE IT BACK FOR THE STATE.
It's a POWER MOVE for CONTROL- not "fish".
Any REAL outdoorsman knows this, without having much knowledge of the criminal politics in CA- it's THAT blatant.
Do better.
Yes..I live near Copco, as well. Removing that damn was an absolutely ridiculous, totally politically (by the far-Left) driven decision.
VAAP 🙂
That's not a lake, it's a runoff pond.
Probably be gone by the fall.
Almond farms
I do not like an opinionated autopilot.
Stop growing almond trees if you want more water . Quit blaming the fish and the governor . I’m sick of those signs about more dams . The only crop that uses more water is beef cattle
Voice activated auto pilot or ‘meat’ servo…..😀
Juan when are you going to cover FAA coming down on UNITED training..... Is this ED&I..... understand UAL is lowering standards below mins.... They have stated they plan on X number of woman and blacks and (anyone other than white men).... They said it (except the last part but that is what ED&I is putting race and gender ahead of competence.)
California will be going back into another drought. Water will again be precious.
CA dumps the water, Against the CA Constitution .
California: either complaining about too little rain or too much...
I always complain about too little; there is no such thing as too much for me. The people complaining about too much rain should move out of the state permanently!
They say california not gonna be in drought in 2 years lol but i think well be in a drought sooner
Lol, even after all that rain the govt will say the valley is still in a drought.
Nope snow pack is at 110%.
The lunatics are controlling the narrative. Whatever they say is the reality you're suppose to believe
Our states insane abundance of broken & poorly installed/aimed automatic sprinklers can make short work of what is considered to be our reserves. Gotta keep watering that concrete...
Officially no part of california is in a drought.
