Thanks for posting! The little bit about how to remove the triangular trim flag by the mirror was the insight I needed (sorry that yours snapped off on you). Great help!
Never mind. Got it. You just push the little lock tab on top of the two bottom posts and pull out. Open the hood to get light in to see the second tab and it's pretty easy. I used a ruler. The top clip is like a standard interior trim clip. It swivels and you can slide the panel off toward the open door. Thanks!
Four years later, and you helped me! Thank you for taking some time to share with the world a little knowledge. I got hit on the highway, and that damage made it so I couldn’t open my door on the passenger side. Never approached anything like it before. Wasn’t too bad. Reshaped my piece and put it back on. Door opens fine now and I’ll get a few more miles. I am grateful for people like you who share what you know. Gratefully, Bruce
Thanks for posting! I did the same driver side fender replacement for a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. One thing to note is that the lower piece that covers the two lower bolts at the bottom of the fender on the right side of the wheel, the piece more or less pulled straight out rather than slid out. There was 1 square peg that fits into a hole for the lower piece and then a plastic post with a screw in it on the left side. I tried in vain to save the rear view mirror triangular "flag" piece as it is called from breaking the attachment pegs upon removal but both the lower square pegs broke anyway. A new one on Ebay or elsewhere runs about $37 so I am getting a new one. The rest of the process was just as you described it.
If you're doing the passenger side, the antenna can be a real pain! I discovered afterward, the top silver piece will twist off and you can slide the entire fender up and over the antenna leaving the antenna and fragile connection in place.
Was looking for a video like this. My fenders are rotted where the 10mm screw clip is on both sides and my fr bumper is sagging. One screw clip is missing, I'm looking online for those. I'll probably just but a fender from a salvage yard and hope they have a good screw clip and plastic trim as well. Looks like a next weekend project.
im hoping that you still use this page, but i have a question regarding that rocker cover skirt right behind that little piece by the fender, im trying to remove one so i can repair the rocker panels on a van so it can be put on the road, and is it just the little push clips in there that are holding it or am i missing some bolts that i cant see? im trying to do this myself as the body shop is trying to charge me $1500 for the rocker panel

Thanks Dave! Busted the little bugger trying to put it back on though. Glued the square peg back on with ABS plumbing cement because you can't find regular plastic cement in Canada anymore. Anyway, it occurs to me that it might be better to pop the top clip out of the body first with a trim stick, as it's the best way to put it back together. It came out after the fact pretty easily. If you're gentle with it, that may provide easier access to the square-post clip tabs.

Which way did you move the tabs? Up, down, straight out?

I appreciate the video! I think I'll tackle this job. Body shop wanted $700 to do it. Please shoot in landscape mode next time :)
You can do it it's not that hard
Hope it goes well!

Can u do the other side fender with the antana ? Thanks
Where did you buy your new fender? Need one exactly the same color? Thanks!
Hello I bought my fender on E- bay
It was $110.00 then
Seems like the last time I checked the price went up.
Good Luck Dale
WHY DIDNT YOU SHOW US doing THE WORK...
Great video!!!
Just hit a pole with my caravan... screwed up the bumper and fender good
It's not that hard to replace yourself, you may find one at your local salvage yard the same color
Dale Sullins true, at the moment the fender and bumper dents are out just waiting on bondo paint to fully finish
