Always like your reviews. No nonsense & great product description. I just acquired a pair of these boots & you guessed it. Bomb proof & astonishingly comfortable 👌
What I have seen from all goretex and all other waterproof material you can easily understand from where the lining starts by looking at the tag outside. I have seen it usually corresponds to the lining parallel with the tag outside.
You said they fit small, and I have heard that from other sources. But they are listed in eu or uk sizes, so I'm really confused as to what to get. I am a size 12 W shoe in the US. I don't have any other motocross boots to compare this to. A 12 in UK is 11, EU 46. So I need to get a UK 12 or EU 47 to get proper fitment for a 12 US ? I'm thinking this would probably be the way to go, since my foot is also wide (not terribly, but non-wide shoes do crush a bit.) Thanks!
Sidi is an Italian company and most of the guys there and others through out Europe are fairly thin compared to Americans so the boots are made more narrow, I lived all over the world during the 60's when I was young and visited plenty of European countries, my DAd was in oil, petrolium engineer. I guess you just have to order a pair and try them and if too narrow, well then, I have narrow feet, I used to have to wear woman's nursing shoes growing up but they were dyed black, I never knew they were woman's shoes, I was told after I was grown. What guy wants to wear woman's shoes ever unless they're odd.
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) material is a group of thermoplastic elastomers with good elasticity and resistance to stresses like abrasion and oil lubricants.
I'm between a 9 and 9.5, so I'm gonna get size 11, like he said.

Just ordered a pair! I’m not going deep off-road. Feel like I can walk in them as needed. Pretty stoked!

I'm new to these boots, what is "TPU"? I've been riding in real nice hiking boots.
