GX5 satellite ground station: Burum

A satellite is just half the picture when it comes to powering global, mobile high-speed Global Xpress connectivity. Watch the moment a new 9-metre Ka-band antenna was delivered and fitted at our ground station in Burum in the Netherlands, following GX5 launch success. It will be responsible for communicating with the GX5 spacecraft, transmitting and receiving its radio waves to keep customers connected wherever they are in Europe and the Middle East - on land, at sea or in the air.
