Just so you know, they are popular in Korea. Much more popular than you think for a rookie group. I was shocked when I see the amount of fans there. Also, their songs were played quite a number of times when I was in Korea and I am so proud. Their buskings were amazing as well and their smiles were genuine. They truly enjoy doing music and when fans sing along to them. So why would they go on music shows just to handsync????? I think live performances and busking are really good ways to communicate with fans :).

i think its hard for them to win on MAMA since Day6 is not marketed as idol band like CNblue or Ft Island. but they can win on Korean Music Award. The winners are decided by a panel of judges consisting of music critics, music radio PDs, and other professionals within the industry like how Yeeun win last year. so even if they did bad on chart, they can win with quality..
As a fan of FT Island, i'm happy that one of big agency in korea *jyp* have a band group like this ,.yeaaay welcome to this cruel kpop world huhuhu. i mean it's not easy to survive in the middle of thousand dance groups. FT Island always told us that was not easy.. therefore they went to japan to learn n developed then came back to korea. It's hard for them to get friends too in korea bcs band and dance group are 2 things different. But i hope Day6 will get tons of appreciate. That's very important for musician..i like their song too 😘

Maybe if they're more popular... but then again, if they don't want to go on those shows they probably never will go there and I think that's fine, as long as it's their decision :) Oh and even if they want to be a "regular band" it still is clever to debut under JYP, I mean, look at all the promotion they get through other JYP artists (and of course the other way around as well) and also, JYP has more money to invest in them so it'll be a little easier to get known than if they chose to do it all on their own or through a small agency.
