Awesome video! I'm impressed that trigger style airbrush at 7:56 could spray autobourne sealer unreduced! I have a GSI Creos Ps-290 with a 0.5 needle/nozzle and it struggles to spray the wicked opaque's unreduced.
The No-Name MiniGun has a 0.7mm tip-size, perfect for shooting clear and paints like Wicked Opaque Colors without needed to reduce. Thank you. spraygunner.com/collections/airbrush-no-name-brand-trigger-type-airbrush/products/minigun-by-no-name-pistol-grip-trigger-type-fan-spray-hybrid-airbrush
Hi there watched all your old stuff your custom work is phenomenal I am currently under the wing of your ex students , Rob dred fx custom paint and he's often told me to watch your vids , thanks for the tutorial 👌👌
Another way to avoid paint creep is to spray a light coat of 4040 Bleed checker or 4030 before the paint. I have done that many times with perfect results.
In order: Iwata LPH-80 with a E4 cap 1.2mm tip-size for the blue, then the SprayGunner MiniGun for orange sealer & pearl and No-Name airbrush for the black. Thank you.
Depends, but when applied over AutoBorne Sealer, mixed 10% per vol. with 4030 Balancing Clear, sprayed at 70 deg. F, and ~ 50% humidity, and (importantly) re-coat times are enough to allow each coat to dry matte, 1-hour air cure after the last coat is applied is generally long enough so that its safe to tape & mask without peeling the paint. This is set-forth in our application guide available at www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
Simon's old 40 psi advice has been updated to follow the spray-gun manufacturer's recommended psi setting, especially when spraying Createx paints mixed with 4030 Balancing Clear or 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear. Thank you.
The Mixing Cup trick for perfect circles is brilliant. As a new painter, I’ve struggled badly with circles. Thanks for the pro tip.
Thanks for watching

I'd be very interested to know where to get the stencils for the "Gulf" graphic, or whether they and others can be made.

Would you say 1 hour dry time to tape over all Wicked paints is sufficient? Or is a longer dry time ideal? Thanks!
